Citizen Hotel - Poblacion Makati City NCR — Hotel in Makati

FALSE ADVERTISING AND HORRIFC HOTEL  ||The Citizen hotel Should be rebranded The Nothing Supplied Nothing Works hotel.||The rooms are like an underground concrete bunker as it has bare concrete walls and no windows.||The rooms are the a very poor, and the advertising of this hotel, the management and the owners, should be prosecuted for misrepresentation and false advertising||There is nothing here, and nothing works ||NO hot water||NO hand towels ||NO face washers ||NO toilet paper ||NO cups or glasses ||NO jug||NO tea or coffee||NO TV channels||NO Internet, it drops out 20 to 30 x a minute||NO windows||NO light switches near the bed||NO in room phone to call reception ||NO room keys that work, you have to go to reception and wait for them to escort you up to your room to let you into your room every single time you enter or leave||This place should be prosecuted for false advertising and misrepresentation. It is an absolute disgrace.||Nothing in the hotel works. I ran the shower for 20 minutes and it started to warm up so I got in the shower and it went cold  staright away and remained cold. ||There are no switches near the bed you have to get up and walk down the hallway to the front door to turn off the lights at night and then walk back to the bed and as there are no windows in the room so it is black and you can't see where you're going.||The beds are cheap, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The air conditioner is mounted through the wall at floor level and is noisy, and it sounds like you're sleeping with a refrigeratorated truck generator in your room.||The bathroom is so narrow that a normal adult cannot walk through the door, you have to turn side on to get into the bathroom it is so narrow. The shower water pressure pressure is pathetic it's like a trickle, and the useless tube of what is apparently supposed to be bath gel is nothing more than a bit of watery liquid. I have never seen such poor quality amenities anywhere in the world.||They have a television screen. It has YouTube and nothing else. There are no TV channels, and when I went to inquire why the TV wasn't working, I was told we do not have TV channels, but you can watch Netflix. I said ok how do I do that?" and they said you have to buy Netflix or can use if you have your own Netflix account, and then you can watch it. ||It's absolutely ridiculous.||The Internet is so bad that you cannot even send an email as it drops out between 20 and 30 times per minute. ||House keeping simply doesn't exist. No one came to make up my room throughout the entire stay. No tiolet paper provided this hotel fails health requirements.||You cannot access your room with your room key because they don't work. So you have to go get a reception staff memeber every single time you walk in-and-out of the room and then have acompany you to your room them let you in.||There is not one positive thing you could say about this hotel and you would be foolish to stay here as it is an absolutely horrific experience.||There is a new manager here and she was very apologetic and I can say she's got a hell of a task ahead of her, as in its current state you wouldn't spend $10 a night to stay here. Let's hope the new manager can rectify some of the many serious problems at this hotel.||There are so many Hotels in Manila and every single one of them is far superior to this place and some I have stated which were even cheaper offered a 1000 times better experience.||I really don't know how this place hasn't been shut down It...

Internet was so slow and sporadic. 7mbps, they’re on prepaid wifi. I complained and they replaced the PREPAID wifi modem thrice, not even sure why they would think it would resolve the issue. Are the other modems faster? lol.First day was not tolerable, i just requested to move us in a different room because we really needed internet and the only fix was to have a room with a window to the outside, so we can just use phone data. The signal of my phone on our first room was so bad it was just 2 bars. They accommodated my request. They gave us a SMALLER room which I did not mind anymore since we really needed the internet. The room I transferred to was DIRTY. There was a PUDDLE OF WATER on the side of the bed near the electric outlet!! Not sure where it came from if it was a leak from the ceiling, at that point I just didnt care and did not expect anything from the hotel anymore to even complain. We had to put down the mattress on the floor so we could just sleep comfortably and with a peace of mind. The ac was just as bad. They have smart tv and a ubox to offer netflix and other streaming services but it was NON-EXISTENT because of their crappy internet. We stayed for two nights. Pictures were nice on the internet with the murals but thats as far as it goes! Second day we DID NOT HAVE INTERNET AT ALL because they failed to top up the modem, i complained around 9pm and it was only fixed at around 1am they had to top it up because the INTERNET EXPIRED. LOL. Shower has hot and cold indicated but HOT NEVER WORKED. Rooms and elevator looks WORN OUT. The lobby and reception area was HOT there wasnt any ac. The elvator was also HOT it felt like an OVEN every time i enter. DONT STAY HERE, there are a few hotels nearby with the same price range that are far better. Staff are friendly and accomodating except for one guy who didnt feel like working. Location is nice near a 7/11 and good food and a mall just a few blocks from the hotel but then again there are far better hotels with the same price range in...
