Went here at around 3:25AM, ordered king chop and asado siopao in their self-order machine. paid by card and everything went through smoothly. then came the cashier/staff, she informed me there that king chop isn’t available - okay? so I asked her to offer me something of the same value. I said I’m good with chow fan with siomai. after few minutes, she approached me again and told me that there is no asado siopao available. Girl??? can you check everything first so that we can sort things out AT THE SAME TIME? I kept my cool and told her I’m okay with chocopao instead. Bear in mind that this is no longer what I ordered because they forgot to IDK disabled it in their system? few minutes passed, she served me the food. no utensils, no tissue. ako pa niadto to get it. I mean I don’t mind at all ha, I’m not being a KAREN here. pero again food service industry, where is excellence sa trabaho? I know underpaid, blah blah minimum wage pero this doesn’t mean we won’t give excellent service noh? Fact is I didn’t blow my frustration to the lady, instead I am here so the management knows, and you guys can improve your services. I rarely write reviews, but this store deserves attention. The service was extremely slow and very very poor as in walang crew sa delivery —I order through grab around 10pm to be exact for a simple order, I wonder why it takes too long and then I chatted the grab rider and he said they are more in there keep shouting to have an update and to be heard but no response from the crews they all walk out and that was during a non-peak hour! No customer in dine but still worse service and What made it very very worse was how unresponsive and inattentive the crew were. No updates, no apologies, and no sense of urgency. Some staff just stood around chatting while customers waited.
Chowking used to be reliable, but this branch seriously needs improvement. Customer service training and better kitchen management are badly needed here.
