Coffee Factory Red — Restaurant in Mandaue

Located AS Fortuna Street in Mandaue City, Coffee Factory Red stands out with its inviting interior of wood and brick elements, accented by splashes of red that pay homage to its name. On a recent visit, I decided to try their Americano, opting for the Colombian beans. Priced at ₱160, it’s on the higher end compared to the average coffee in Cebu. Unfortunately, the taste didn't quite match up to the price tag. The coffee was light, a bit watered down, and while it wasn’t bad, I expected a bit more punch for the price.

To complement my coffee, I ordered a brownie and asked for it to be reheated. The staff was happy to oblige, and I was pleasantly surprised. The brownie, priced at just ₱60, was moist and studded with pecans and chocolate chips – a delicious treat that definitely hit the mark.

The ambiance here is quite cozy, making it a nice spot to relax. The bossa nova music playing in the background added a nice touch, though the lyrics might be distracting if you're planning to work or study. The shop offers ample parking and outdoor seating, which is always a plus.

Overall, my experience was okay. The brownie was a standout, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I’ll definitely give this place another try, hoping that next time, the coffee will be stronger and...

Already visited this cafe twice – the 1st one was a coincidence as we were to visit a laptop shop nearby and chanced seeing this cafe and we really liked it a lot. They serve good coffee, and they even sell local beans #supportLokal! 💯💯💯 On top of their coffee selections, they also have cakes and pastries available. I really loved the egg tart we had (ps: the plate was sooo cute, too). The cafe has great interior – industrial vibes. It also has great natural light since the space is all windows. Staff are friendly and accommodating too. For the place and ambience, the price is worth it. Coffee ranges from P150-190. The tarts and cookies are below P100, and cake slices price starts at P100.

Really love to work from here next time since they also have power outlets available for you to charge your devices. Nice hidden gem of a cafe...
