All in all, this is a great BBQ place. It's been here for decades.
What I love about this place: Location. It's conveniently located along the road at AS Fortuna.
Taste. Some might say it's just "ordinary". But if you consider their consistency in how they prep their food - it's amazing. Just be careful on using too much of their soy sauce though as it might mislead you to their "salty-tongued chef" coz in reality, its not salty. Its just right. For those who are familiar with what they use when they cook, Matias uses Camel soy sauce which is known for its lingering salty taste if used too much. So again, cooks here have great taste buds.
Price. Value for money here is unbelievable. Trust me. It's priced right. And once you get to taste their food. You'll see what I mean.
Fruit shakes. This too is priced uberly fair. Taste+price = You'll wonder how their profiting from their shakes, haha!
What I'm not a fan of: Just one - their crew/waiters.
Hehe. But I guess I could understand considering their area workload per waiter. FYI, each waiter is in charge of a couple if tables per area. So if you'd wonder why they'd say "wait sir, I'll call your waiter." It means someone's already assigned to you [your table].
Therefore, be sure to also pack some patience with you. Hehe.
BTW: Been here a ba-zillion number of times. Just had the chance to write a review about...
Read moreAvoid this place—it's not worth your time! The customer service is terrible, and they won’t even bother attending to you unless you arrive in a car. I visited the place with my agents, planning to dine in for an eat-out event, as I had fond memories of my previous visit when the staff were friendly and accommodating. Sadly, this time was a completely different experience. When we arrived, I asked where we should place our order, and we were told to find a seat and wait. It was 3 PM, after the lunch rush, and the place wasn’t busy. Despite this, we waited for almost 30 minutes, and nobody approached us. I tried raising my hand several times, but the staff seemed to ignore us completely. Then, a new customer arrived—someone with a car—and, unsurprisingly, they were immediately attended to and asked for their order. I approached an employee again and expressed or asked that we wanted to order, but I was given the same vague response: someone would come to take our order soon. Frustrated, we decided to leave and won’t be going back. It’s disappointing that I didn’t get to enjoy their food again, but based on my experience, it seems like you won’t be noticed unless you have a car. How...
Read moreThe place is great for dine in ONLY. But their system for take outs is the worst! I waited standing for maybe 15-20mins because they only have 1 person taking the order for take outs and shes also the one going to the grill station taking out the orders and waits for it to be cooked. she thens comes back to her station and doesn't even bother to see/ask who got there first. the first person who gets her attention will be the one the get served next. So the basis for their take outs is based on whom the take out person talks to next. It won't matter if you have been standing there like a statue for how many minutes. And take note, she only gets 1 order at a time and waits for it to be cooked before returning to her station. So good luck if the customer before you had a lot of orders. Long story short, the lady who just arrived got served first because she got the cashier's attention first. POOR ORDERING SYSTEM FOR TAKE OUTS! Only go here if you...
