Causeway Seafood Restaurant 廣東海鮮餐廳 — Restaurant in Manila

The food is actually decent. However, the customer service is pretty bad, they are not helpful and rude. I called their restaurant today and asked for the updated menu list and if I am able to place an order (with 1 senior citizen) and pay online via gcash. I informed them ahead of time that I will let grab to pick up order on dec 31 11am. They told me that I can and just send them the picture of the senior citizen via Viber, they provided me with their Viber account. I did as they requested..we were finalizing the orders when I was told that to let the grab driver bring the authorization letter when he pick up my order which is ridiculous because I would not have spent almost an hour asking, placing order if they would ask the grab driver to pick up authorization letter at my house and bring it to them. And this is just for 76 pesos!!! The total bill is almost 5200 and the discount they will give me is just 76!!!! I informed them that the meal is for 3 people. 76 pesos and they feel that it is their right to waste customer's time and be rude. This is illegal and we will see if I will file complaint against their company for not giving the appropriate discount...

Good food, friendly staff. Many diners like the promo time so its usually crowded at night. Update... Promo price now php88/98 per dimsum. Promo time 2.30 to 5(+?)pm & 8.30 to closing (I think 9.30 but forgot). Servers still very attentive & helpful. They also have free service tea & hot/cold water. Ordered the Seafood Tito congee & it feels worth it at php160 per bowl coz though the bowl is small, they put giant shrimps & more seafood than expected. Definitely will order again. Also ordered Lean Meat with Century Egg (slices) congee (also small bowl but have lots of filling), some dimsum (try their Beancurd Rolls & diff Siomais, spareribs & Chix feet) & Broccoli with 3 Kinds Mushrooms. All taste good but the best are the 2 congee. Don't be put off by it's small...

The Seafood Restaurant is an absolute favorite for family meals! Although it is often very crowded, it is always worth waiting for a table. The selection of fresh seafood is excellent and every dish we have ordered so far has been absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, although they are very busy. The ambiance is inviting and relaxing, creating a great atmosphere for dinner with the family. The prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.
