Stayed at this hotel overnight and I can say it's a peaceful stay.
ROOMS The room we had is a standard room. We requested for a quiet room and on a higher floor and that's what was given to us. The bed was clean and in fairness, no cockroaches. Theres fan and air-conditioning so you have an option. We just had an issue with the AC coz it's so loud when it's turnwd on. Towels are clean and they have soap, toothbrush, shampoo and a small toothpaste. The shower is not that great though. The flow of water from the shower is not smooth and a bit heavy on the skin. The shower in our room was very difficult in terms of adjusting the temperature. You either just shower with a very hot water or a cold one. No bidet also. One good thing about this hotel is they have water diapensers so no need to buy water when you stay here. And also, the room we had was very oeaceful and dark when all lights were turned off. So for a good night sleep, ask for a room far from the main road. Even though it's a busy area, it's very peaceful inside the room.
SERVICE The staffs were friendly and true to their word with their customers. As I've mentioned, they granted my request for a quiet room on a higher floor.
LOCATION As a hotel inside Binondo, food will never be your problem. The only issue is the queue of people eating at the stores near here. So be early or have someone fall in line while the other stays iin the hotel. But if to jo avail, there's a 7/11 near. Also be warned that booking a Grab is a bit difficult in this area especially on peak hours.
So overall, I highly suggest this place and will definitely book again if given a chance. But if you're a foreigner who demands so much for the budget you pay here, I suggest book a different hotel. This place will...
Read morecomplete discrepancy between the photos of the deluxe room when booking and the room in real life (photos attached). Pros: the hotel is located in an interesting area, there are many shops and cafes and fruit stalls nearby, the room has a TV, air conditioning, there is hot water, but since the shower head does not work well, the water pressure is very weak, there is a water cooler on each floor, a working elevator. Cons: bed linen with stains, an old mattress with pellets, no glass on the windows only mosquito netting and shutters made of boards that do not close well, accordingly, since there are no window panes, all the noise from the street and the smell of burning and cooking from the cafe below will be in your room around the clock ... you will not be able to get a good night's sleep. The room was not cleaned even once...
Read moreStayed 3 nights and it was over all good. Clean rooms, towels, and linens. Hot/cold water dispensers along the hallways is a big plus. If you want to catch up on sleep, choose a no-window room (dark and quiet). Noise was an issue with our first room with window so we moved to a room without window and it was perfect. Staff members were polite and helpful. Location is nice as it is close to shops, restaurants, fruit stands, etc and very accessible both via Grab taxi or tricycle and fair distance to walk to LRT1 station (Carriedo or D.Jose). Will stay here again if given the chance to go...
