Mid drinks, we ordered the Cloud Matcha (ā±200, 16oz) and the Sparkling Strawberry (ā±180, 16oz). The Matcha itself was lackluster in color, almost a grayish green, we couldn't place if they used coconut water for the foam. The strawberry was basically strawberry syrup and soda. A bit expensive even if it's in the U-Belt area, I honestly wouldn't have paid more than ā±150 for the things we ordered. Not sure why the other reviews gas their non-coffee drinks so much, they're very basic considering the price tag.
It's a relatively small space, very little outlets if you plan to study here. Almost elbow to elbow with the other customers. And yes, they do disconnect and change the wifi password after offering to connect you to pay. Signal is low so if you plan to pay through e-wallet, it's gonna take a while with data. They don't have change for larger bills.
It was ok in the al fresco area but you'd hear the foot traffic and other noise in Lacson. If you move back in the actual cafe, it's like a library from all the students studying and you can't really talk to your friends in a normal speaking volume š plus every time someone uses the washroom (and forgets to close it) you'll get a strong whiff of clogged toilet water or kung ano man was 'deposited' there iykyk. It was very, very off-putting. No separate exhaust. Right next to the washroom door was where the food and drinks were made š¬
I don't really recommend going here. You're better off with the multitude of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo my friends and I were looking for a coffee shop nearby and found this one on Google. We decided to try it because the interior looked really cozy.
But when we got there, the barista didnāt even greet usādidnāt even hand us a menu like most coffee shops do. We were the only new customers there at that timeābut our drinks took almost 30 minutes to arrive⦠we only ordered three. My friend ordered a sea salt latte, I got a mocha with extra sea salt cream, and the other one ordered white chocolate.
Drinks came, my friendās sea salt latte was insanely saltyālike, it literally tasted like we were drinking salt. š I tried mine (which just had sea salt cream as an add-on), and it was just as bad. It honestly felt like weād get a UTI if we finished the whole thing. We ended up throwing the drinks away. Such a waste of money. š©
I always order sea salt drinks from different cafĆ©s, so I know what theyāre supposed to taste like. This was hands down the worst one Iāve ever had....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered their Spanish latte, and it was absolutely amazingārich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Every sip was delightful and satisfying. The ambiance of the cafĆ© made the experience even more enjoyable. The space was calm and inviting, with soft music playing in the background and warm lighting that created a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to take a break, savor a great drink, and just unwind. Iād highly recommend it for both the coffee and the...
