Obelisk Cafe + Restaurant — Restaurant in Manila

The Cafe & Resto is in the same building with that of the Arzo Grand Lodge.

They have a decent number of servers/staffs for a small resto (or maybe it was just their time to change shifts?).

🌟🌟🌟 In my case, I came in the resto at 6pm. After some time that no staff seems to approach me (even if some staff is available), I had to go to the counter to ask for the menu book.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟They serve a generous amount of food per serving. And I must say, it really was delicious.

🌟🌟🌟 Noisy. Staffs were talking loudly. Nakikipag chikahan. I don't have a problem with that though they have to atleast tone their voices down.

We were the only people in the place for late lunch around 230pm on a Saturday. Yet the serving time took a long time. The lomi was super sulit for the price and good for 4 people if you order with other foods. The pepperoni pizza was good. The cheesy fries with bacon bits was ok, but we felt the additional cheese powder was too much. The kare kare meat and veggies were good, but the kare-kare sauce and bagoong needs improvement. Situated in a quiet place in Ermita, Obelisk Cafe + Restaurant is homey and no-frills. The restaurant is located within the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. Sayang, was not able to try their salmon sinigang on our visit as they were out of certain veggies. Nakabawi naman sila sa grilled boneless bangus which is awesome, with just the right amount of spice and lots of tomatoes -- love it!
