I accidentally booked 4 nights here in October when I meant to book 4 nights in September, same dates just the wrong month. I messaged the hotel 10 minutes after booking, asking if I can change my dates to the previous month. I figured there would be at least a fee or I would have to pay more to get the dates moved back due to booking under an expedia promo, even though I booked in June. After 12 hours no response, which was fine I was just a bit worried they might charge me more if it had been 24 hours since my booking, I called expedia. They tried calling multiple numbers to get a hold of the Leez Inn. They were unsuccessful, but sent them a detailed email of what I was needing help with. Later that day I received an email saying the Leez Inn would get back to me in the next 48 hours. A few hours later, I got a message back from the Leez Inn saying, "As per checking, this booking is non-rebookable because it was made under strict promo." I wrote back, "So can I cancel my booking? I'm not going to be in this country at the time of the current booking. I'm happy to stay here if I can get my dates changed and I'm willing to pay a bit more to have my dates changed because I did it under a promo. I know it's possible for you guys to change my dates, unless those dates are already booked. Let me know what needs to be done for me to either get my $85 back so I can book with you guys again in September or let me know if you cannot help me and I'm out $85 and need to find a different place to stay." They wrote back, "As per checking your booking is also non refundable. If you will cancel your booking, full amount will still be charged."
The reason why it sucks is because if the dates I would like them to change my reservations to are open, it would be so easy to change my reservation and I'm willing to spend more money because it was me they screwed up when booking. In stead, they told me that my dates cannot be changed and if I cancel they will be keeping my $85. Who ever is running this place clearly is more interested in collecting money than helping travelers through a very minor issue that could have been resolved by a simple reservation change and I would have been totally cool with a rebooking fee as well.
Somebody at the Leez Inn will be smiling when they get $85 and only had to write a couple emails for it. I'm sure many people have had great experiences with the Leez Inn as I was excited to as well. I'm sad that I won't be able to stay here because of a simple booking issue that was three months down the road. I bet this place is awesome is you know how to correctly put in your booking dates into the computer, I...
Read moreWe arrived at 1:15pm and the staff said that their standard check-in time is 2:00pm so we waited in the lobby (other hotels allows their customers to check-in earlier than 2:00pm most specially if there is an available room instead of having their customers wait). Their lobby doesn't have an aircon or electric fan and doesn't have a television for entertainment while waiting.
The room is too small for a superior type of room but it is nicely decorated although the comforter smells like it was not dried properly. The room measures around 3x4 square meters only and the floor is very slippery when wet so you really need to be extra careful when you walk barefoot. With regards to the facility, they do have what they call "restaurant" but it doesn't sell rice and the services are very terrible! My foot is injured that is why I requested them if they can bring up the breakfast since it is not a buffet and it's very painful to go downstairs from the 5th floor. They said that they cannot because it is their protocol and I will be charged Php. 275 for each meal if they bring it up so better yet I go down even if my foot is swollen. Another things is they don't have an elevator so if your room is on the 5th floor, it means it's exercise time!
Overall experience, I will NEVER recommend them not because they have small superior rooms but because their service is horrible. I would suggest that even if they have small rooms as long as the services are great, there's no doubt, customers will surely come back! But with what I have experienced, I will surely and definitely spread this to warn my family and friends. I won't let them do the same mistake as I did. It's definitely not worth your penny. TWO...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed 1 night.Pros:1.Comfortable bed and pillows.2. Hot shower available.3. Netflix included.4. Very nice and efficient inverter air conditioning.5. Fridge available.6. Electric kettle provided.7.The room has a balcony, though the view isn’t very appealing.8. Spacious room.Cons:1 .No basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, or dental kits.2. No bath towels in the bathroom you need to request them.3. Noise from the outside, especially jeepneys honking, is noticeable.4. Despite online check-in and full payment, the check-in process was inconvenient and slow. We had to fill out additional forms and wait almost an hour for the room to be ready.5. Linens were stained and the sheets were wrinkled, which gave the impression they hadn’t been changed.6. Front desk staff lacked professionalism and training in handling guests.7. Bathroom was okay, but not thoroughly cleaned there were hairs on the floor.Overall Impression: Our overnight stay was just satisfactory. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, which we appreciated after a long, tiring day. However, the service needs significant improvement. We were particularly disappointed with the front desk staff, especially the person who checked us in (possibly named Macben?). He seemed untrained and unsure of how to handle guests properly.Despite booking and paying online, we had to wait nearly an hour for our room, which was frustrating given our exhaustion from travel and appointments. Housekeeping also needs better training stained linens and poorly cleaned bathrooms are unacceptable. The place has potential, but staff professionalism and cleanliness standards need to be raised for a better...
