Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Manila

After ordering a take out earlier tonight (Dec 04,2022), at 6:15pm, I asked their Manager Regina(or Regine), who happens to be a trainee, a glass of water that's not iced.

To my surprise, she said they don't have that available and only serve cold water. Then, she left me and went to the cash register.

I stood up from my seat and asked someone at their counter where food was being prepared a glass of water. She immediately smiled and went to grab a cup. Then, i told her if I can have it not iced. She smiled again and said that she can prepare it that way. I saw her taking water from a pitcher.

After handing it to me, and after i took a sip, i asked the lady in white if the lady assigned at the cash register was the manager. She answered that she's a manager in training.

She proceeded by asking me why I'm interested. I told her that it's because i want to file a complaint. and i told her what happened.

After listening, she immediately apologized on behalf of Regina or Regine, which I greatly appreciate.

This may be a petty situation to some but not to me. If you're unwilling to satisfy my request, you could have told me how and where to get a glass of water, not iced, instead of lying to my face.

We wentmto one of their branches sa loob ng megamall. The ambiance was great. It's filled with tons of pizza quotes and pizzateria memorabilias from the old times. The food was good. We ordered an 8-inch pizza, fetuccini (dont know if I spelled it right) and a fried chicken. Good customer service. They served us well and were very accomodating. The only reason I gave them a 4/5 is that (1) they served us the wrong food. Napansin naman nila agad so ok lang; (2) they forgot our dessert! Again it was fine because we're ful anyway after the pizza and all, and; (3) they still put the dessert in the receipt. That time nahihiya yung pinsan ko na magsabi pero syempre diba almost 100php din yun kaya sinabi ko. They kindly changed the receipt with the right one. But just imagine the hassle it caused us that time especially for me dahil may lakad pa ako after ng lunch namin. Overall, everything was great. Just the technecalities lang lalo na't may...

If I could give it a 0 stars i would. The Pizza Hut in Gateway is the worst Pizza Hut I had ever went to. The Pizza's ingredient is not properly distributed, the bacon mac and cheese is so dry and there's only 2 piece of bacon. The Garlic bread is not toasted and you can see that they just spread the butter in it. I am disappointed because I love pizza hut but the one located in Gateway...
