Welcoming, no issues. Checked at the door. Prices for pool tables are 100 pesos per hour. Drinks will average about the same. There are two floors of pool tables, so you can be pretty sure you will get one.
The tables themselves are a bit above average for bar tables. Fairly clean, good clothing. Terrible pool cues though.
However, outside of multiple fans, there is zero reprieve from the insane heat and humidity of Manila. The beer was mostly cold, accompanied by glasses and ice but you run the risk of consuming ice. If you're not a local, you are rolling the dice with the ice, so I skipped it and drank warm drinks.
Staff was attentive and other patrons were indifferent to how out of place we looked. No side eye, no ill intents. Just people playing and minding their own.

Read moreI was visiting it to check it out before the school season came. I ordered a bowl of crispy kikiam and a bottle of GSM Blue, alone mind you. The servers and bouncers were really nice. The music (when the people weren't singing in the karaoke) is pretty okay although I'd personally suggest more OPM. Its pretty ventilated as well as they require vaccine cards on entry. If you're someone who doesn't go to bars too often, Lakay Billiards is a safe place for you to go to.
