The coffee shop had a nice ambiance and aesthetic design. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered the bacon dish, but based on what I ate, it seemed more like ham. The liempo was so chewy that it was difficult to eat.
As for the drinks, I enjoyed the matcha I orderedāit was worth the price. Their beverages are definitely a highlight.
Regarding the service, we had to wait a long time for the service water and even had to remind them twice. When they finally brought the glasses, some were dirty. I donāt mind that they use plastic glasses, but they should be properly cleaned or replaced if damaged.
The staff was okay, but some of them had an attitude that we found off-putting.
Overall, it was a nice experience, but if you're looking for a cozy coffee date spot, this might not be the best choice. It seems more suited for Instagram and aesthetic purposes rather than for quality food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here for early dinner. I ordered pork tocino. At first, I thought everything can be consumed. I was mistaken. There was a big chunk of pork fat which cannot be consumed. It looked a big serving but its actually just enough. That is if you eat sparingly. The rice serving was huge. I like there is cucumber and tomato slices and atsara. For the price its just right. The quality of food is above average. Coffee was decent. Not too sweet and just the right strength of coffee kick. The place was a bit small but it can cater maybe 10 to 25 customers at a time but it would be a bit difficult to move around especially the dining area and the cashier are on the same level. I hope they can improve the food and use young pork tocino instead of those bought from the market. Also, hope they can move to a bigger location so customers have a bit of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited Ragsak Cafe, and while the name means "happiness" in Ilocano, I canāt say I felt happy during my visit.
The place feels too enclosed and hot because the air conditioning is insufficient, making it very uncomfortable, especially when there are many people. Itās also quite noisy, which adds to the unpleasant atmosphere. The comfort room had a bad smell and didnāt seem well-maintained, which was disappointing. On top of that, thereās no proper parking space, which is inconvenient for customers with cars.
Honestly, Ragsak Cafe is an overhyped place. Aside from the affordable food, thereās nothing special about it. While the staff were accommodating and friendly, the noise, poor atmosphere, and lack of proper facilities make it a place na pupuntahan pero hindi na babalikan. It needs a lot of improvement to truly live up...
