Went here because of the viral tweet. Prior my visit, I was only able to try Tropical Hut once.
The place looks classic. The positive thing about it is that it brings nostalgia. What they can improve on, however, is the maintenance of the place. It looks like it kept its traditional vibe, which may not appeal to today’s market. They need to up their branding, repaint the walls, install an air conditioner, and more enhances to keep up with the times.
I like the burgers the most. They don’t look and taste mass-produced. It gives you a feeling it was specially prepared for you in a home kitchen. Fries are just okay although a bit dry, and the spaghetti is weird. The color of the spaghetti sauce is off red, and it doesn’t taste like a Pinoy spaghetti, too. I have to order the sandwiches next time.
