Uno Seafood Wharf Palace: A Feast for the Senses
Uno Seafood Wharf Palace is a truly exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the lively ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.
The service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. We were particularly impressed by their enthusiasm, especially during the heartwarming rendition of "Happy Birthday" for a fellow diner. It added a special touch to the occasion.
But the real star of the show was the food. The portions were incredibly generous, ensuring that everyone left feeling satisfied. The quality of the seafood was outstanding, fresh and expertly prepared. Each dish was bursting with flavor, a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs.
Overall, Uno Seafood Wharf Palace is a highly recommended dining destination. It's a place where delicious food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere come together to create an...
Read moreWe went to an event on the second floor, and it felt nostalgic to be back in this old restaurant. While the second floor ceiling seems too short for taller people, I understand since it’s an old place. Still, the second floor had space to be beautifully decorated, and there was ample space for the stalls to fit the venue.
We were looking forward to enjoying some delicious food. However, the quality was not what we expected. We tried the stuffed chicken rice, birthday noodles, and various party dishes, but they were bland and no longer hot. Maybe they had difficulties in food preparation or some other reason.
Most of the staff were really nice, which made our experience pleasant. I did encounter one older waiter who misgendered me, but I politely asked to be called ma’am. Unfortunately, he further insulted me after that. It left me feeling uneasy that I had to leave the party. I would give the food a chance, but the reason why my family and I will never come back is because of the...
Read moreOur family hasn't dined at Uno Restaurant in quite a long time, so we tried it again. Generally the food is good. We ordered Sweet and sour pork (a family staple), Yang Chow Fried rice, fish congee, chicken feet, siomai, Corn soup, Hot and sour soup, tofu steak, Steamed lapu lapu, and salt and pepper squid. We didn't really eat anything that we would say was bad, but with there being so many Chinese restaurants around Manila, there wasn't a dish that stood out. Supposed to be their specialty is Chicken pie but we have some family members who don't eat chicken so we didn't order. Among those we ordered, we enjoyed most the squid and the hot and sour soup.
What can be improved though is the cleanliness and the general upkeep of the place. It's still vibrant and patronized by a lot of customers and they enjoy a lot of table reservations, but the interior is dated, so a little renovation and cleaning...
