My partner and I ate here for the 1st time on July 2nd week. The restaurant has 3 floors. The ambience on 3rd floor was just okay. There was a designated waitress at each floor so service was fine. We ordered the following dishes:
Sincerity fried chicken - 3 stars. I think this is overhyped or the cooking just changed. I was disappointed on this because the flavor was bland. The reviews say that it was 'to die for' or it was so flavorful. I barely tasted the spices and marinade that i was expecting for. It was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, but that's it.
Sincerity fried rice - This is like a normal fried rice we can cook at home but it's better to partner with the fried chicken.
Fried oyster cake - 2 stars. We didn't like it. The malagkit ingredient was weird and medjo malangsa daw sabi ng partner ko.
Kikiam - 4 stars. It was good. This is the only dish that tasted like an authentic Chinese cuisine.
Garlic spinach - 3 stars. Nothing special about this. It's okay to partner with a meat because it's vegetables. The taste was nothing flavorful.
Honestly, I think it's better to look for other Chinese restaurants because I didn't experience the authentic Chinese flavor on most of the cuisines, except for the kikiam. I think it is just overhyped, or they change their cook so the food is no longer as...
Read moreThe food is great and it's not too pricey. They have wide range of selection in their menu. Their best seller is their fried chicken. We also ordered their oyster cake. Surprisingly, my companions were delighted with the oyster cake. It's actually like an omelet with lots of oysters. It's recommended that you visit the restaurant on weekdays because on weekends it is crowded and there's a long line outside the restaurant. You might as well look for parking somewhere else because they have limited parking space. The waiting staff is very courteous. Waiting time for the food to be served is not that long. The restaurant itself is not too spacious. There are only few tables on the first floor. They do have more dining tables on their second floor. They have a common rest room. The rest room is decent but not as nice as other restaurants I've been too. You can call ahead if you want to reserve a table. By the way, they also give discounts to senior citizens. The food I recommend are: Sincerity chicken, oyster cake, Sincerity Chami, crab meat omelet, curry shrimp, tausi fish fillet, sincerity pata tim with cuapao, sweet and sour Lapu-lapu, camaron rebosado, sincerity fried rice, polonchay with garlic, and many more. Overall, I...
Read moreWent here for an early lunch on a Sunday. There is already a line outside to enter the place but we did not wait that long - around 15 minutes. Service time was around 10-15 minutes to get our complete order.
We got the Sincerity Fried Rice. In my opinion, it's nothing special. Just your typical fried rice with Chinese chorizo. The big size is good enough for 2 people.
We had the Sincerity Fried Chicken. It's good but again nothing special. I did not like getting small bones while eating this one as it was roughly chopped.
We also tried the Shredded beef w/ Onions. This was great. A good balance of beef and onion. However, the beef was unbearably tough. I do not recommend this for seniors as they may have a tough time chewing.
Lastly, we tried the pork siomai. This is a disappointment. It was tough and warm. Would have been better if it was served steaming.
In addition, the single table for 2 was barely enough to have all our orders on a table - in addition to 2 soda in cans, 1 pitcher and a total of 4 glasses plus the condiments.
Overall, it's a good place to experience the food but will not come back...
