SNR Membership Shopping in Marikina is a popular wholesale and retail store known for offering a wide range of products, from grocery items and household essentials to electronics, furniture, and imported goods. The store operates similarly to other membership-only warehouse clubs, where customers can benefit from bulk purchases at lower prices, appealing especially to families and small business owners.
Pros:
Wide Product Range: SNR offers a broad selection of local and imported products, including food items, electronics, appliances, home goods, and clothing. The availability of international brands can be a big draw for customers looking for items not commonly found in other supermarkets.
Bulk Buying: The warehouse format encourages bulk purchases, which is cost-effective for customers who want to stock up on essentials. This can be great for families or business owners needing supplies at a lower per-unit cost.
Competitive Prices: SNR Marikina often provides competitive prices, especially on bulk items. Members can find discounts and deals that are not available in regular retail stores.
Food Court: The food court is a customer favorite, offering tasty and affordable food options, including pizzas, hot dogs, and churros. It's a convenient stop for a quick meal or snack after shopping.
Parking: The Marikina branch usually has ample parking, making it easy for members to bring larger vehicles for bulk shopping without worrying about parking issues.
Cons:
Membership Requirement: The annual membership fee is required to access SNR, which can be a disadvantage for customers who may not shop frequently enough to make the membership cost worthwhile.
Crowds on Weekends: Like most warehouse clubs, SNR Marikina can get crowded on weekends and holidays, leading to long lines at checkout. This can be frustrating for those looking to make a quick trip.
Limited Smaller Quantities: Although bulk buying is an advantage for some, it might not be ideal for individuals or small households who don’t need large quantities of each item.
Occasional Stock Issues: Some customers report that certain items may go out of stock and are not replenished quickly. This can be disappointing if you're looking for a specific product.
Product Return Process: Returns can sometimes be a hassle due to policies and the membership format, so it’s best to double-check items before purchasing, especially on high-value goods.
Overall: SNR Marikina offers a great shopping experience for those who benefit from bulk buying and who enjoy a wide variety of goods. It’s ideal for families, business owners, and anyone looking to save money on bulk purchases of quality local and imported products. While membership and crowds can be a downside, the value provided by the deals, product selection, and food court make it a worthwhile shopping destination...

Read moreIt's a nice store with a good product selection. The membership process took a little while so we have to shop faster so we don't go beyond 3 hours to avoid the 200 pesos parking fee that they charge if you are in the area for more than 3 hours. Lines are not long at the counter but the cashier is a little bit slow. Right after finishing the person before us, he took our card and said he will just look for boxes. It took around 12 minutes. While waiting, we asked the other cashier opposite to us if we can transfer to her. She said she will also need to get boxes, indirectly saying, "no, do not transfer to me". Overall, it took us almost 45 minutes in the payment area leaving us less than 20 minutes to eat in the Deli so we decided to just eat somewhere. We went on a Saturday so we kind of expected to have a limited time and a lot of other customers. I would say that services especially in the payment counter can be improved but I know that the store has a lot of seasonal employees particularly cashiers during the Christmas season so it may take some time for them to be more efficient. Good thing we only buy our grocery once a month. I will try to come back on a weekday and see if my experience will be different....
