Review dated August 2022 Not perfect but good enough. One of the best Japanese food places that's reasonably priced within the marikina area. Got a taste of the salmon sashimi and I was satisfied with it's freshness and preparation. The ebi tempura is not the kind I'm usually used to but it's good and tasty nevertheless. The shrimp is a bit small but understandable since market prices are high. Tasted the tonkatsu ramen and very tasty though a bit on the strong salty side. The elements like the chasu were ok but for me the noodles were a bit undercooked maybe or maybe just a texture problem. Service was fast. The place had well spaced table and chairs. Finally dropped by this attractive joint when we were looking for a place that could offer a light meal.

First impression? Nice interior. Casual but very Japanese. Canteen-like and yet cozy.

Prices looked really good. Five octopus balls (Takoyaki) for P145. Not bad. So that's what I ordered. And I was pleased to see that they were served in the metal plate where they were cooked. It was heavenly!

My husband had a ramen which he wiped out quickly. We both we full but not bursting at the seams.

Oh, they do serve house tea which is a thing for me. I'm a house tea freak.

Anyway, I'll be visiting this place...
