☕ The kind of place that quietly becomes a favorite (From night to morning, lol)
🌙 Open until 3 AM! Big plus for night owls like us. When every other café starts closing, this one feels like your go-to hideout. It’s the perfect alternative to Starbucks if you want a quieter, more laid-back spot. Bonus, you’ll see other people there doing the same thing: enjoying the stillness.
💸 Price: Reasonable. You get good coffee, good food, and good company (if you have one!)
☕ Coffee & Food: Always hits the spot. Simple but satisfying.
When your brain says coffee but your heart says cocktail. Good thing Turning Tides has both. 😂 Left for café, right for restobar. Choose your fighter. 💀❤️
⚡ Service: Usually quick and smooth.
👋 Staff: Most are friendly, though there were a few times they seemed less welcoming but nothing major enough to ruin the experience.
🖼️ Ambience: Calm. Peaceful. The kind of setting where deep conversations just flow. I used to love the beautiful paintings, they added so much charm.
💬 Some of my most honest, heartfelt convos happened here. It’s that kind of place.
❤️ Overall: Still one of my go-to cafés with friends.
📅 UPDATE (09/07)*
They’ve switched things up — new dark, modern wall tones and a cozy corner space. Sadly, the cute paintings are gone. The vibe’s a bit different now, but it still has that...
Read moreReview is intended for the cafe only. Food options are very limited. Pastries are priced high but not even delightful to look at. I asked if they have an equivalent drink to SB's Barista blend, it seems they have no idea. I ordered the common spanish latte, it tasted really bad. I dont know if their baristas are legit or still practicing how to make coffee. Ive been to many cafes already and spanish latte is a common one but their drink is the worst I've tasted. Their cafe does not play cafe music. Smaller pop up cafes are even better than them, they know what a cafe ambience should be like and feel like but here in Turning Tides, completely opposite. The noises from the voices of the staff and crew felt like "parang nasa bilyaran". I had to go out immediately because it is not relaxing at all. Please train the baristas, the manner they speak and the loudness of their voices are "hindi pang cafe". If some staff who are making distracting noises are from the gastropub, please prohibit them in visiting yung katabing cafe only to make noises. Cafe po kayo,...

Went to their place to chill and read a bit.
Coffee is ok, but not worth the price. Croissant is ok too, but pricy. I asked them if they serve meals, they said they only serve pastries, but I was surprised to see when another customer was served with pasta and rice.
Went at the place around 9 am, place is nice though with a good view of the street. Ambience is also spacious, homey, and neat.
Downside is the music. The music they played after I ordered my coffee were:
Nosi Balasi 😂 Banal na Aso, Santong Kabayo Tatsulok Other Yano and Bamboo songs
Nothing wrong for playing OPM music, pero sana ibagay naman nila sa oras, lalo na sa vibe ng place. I think yun yung playlist nila kagabi sa kabilang bar.
Giving 1 ⭐️ for supporting...
