Located inside Okada Manila’s Casino area, Kiapo offers traditional Filipino foods served with finesse and class. The restaurant is the most packed one among other Okada restaurants.
Here are the foods we’ve tried. Price is quite overwhelming seeing the serving size we got for each food, one thing we expect from fancy restaurants.
Chicharon Bulaklak (P330) – these are sinfully delicious! Finely spiced and salted and deep fried perfectly. It’s not oily thus not messy to eat. We crave for more though as the serving size isn’t that proportion for its price.
Pancit Canton (P390) – stir-fried egg noodles with pork, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. If you like pancits that’s a bit salty because of soy sauce, then this one’s for you. We find it tasty to our liking.
Lemongrass Fried Chicken Wings (P400) – this lemongrass and garlic marinated wings are tender and juicy enough. Same with the Chicharon Bulaklak, we wished we had more.
Barbecue Pork Ribs (P460) – of all the foods we’ve ordered, this one’s were most happy about despite the hefty price. The meat is tender and tasty, and they got the classic sweet and salty barbecue we’ve always love.
Beef Bulalo (P450) – once served, we kinda forgot that this one’s labeled as Bulalo when in fact it looks like our homecooked Nilagang Baka. The meat is very soft and the soup is wonderful. We wished they put in more meat and corn for this bowl.
Value for money: If you’re really into Filipino food and happen to be at Okada, then is a good place to stay and relatively cheaper than the other restaurants in the...
Read moreOk, so I went to this restaurant with my family while on vacation on June 16, 2018. I ordered pork sisig from the menu along with my family’s other dishes and expected it to come within maybe 20-30 min. as there were a number of guests also at this restaurant. I went on my phone to pass time and didn’t realize that my order had been completely scratched and was nonexistent even though I had ordered it. I had just decided to forget about my meal as the water they had given me made me full and I had this anxious and disappointing feeling in my body. My mom also ordered chicken wings and she had to cancel them after waiting almost over an hour for them. In conclusion, the restaurant has decent food for it being a pricey restaurant in an expensive hotel, but I would say it is a little unorganized (mostly in the kitchen I guess). I was disappointed with the service here as I was expecting some great food, but ended up...

Waited 30 minutes for my food cause they sorta forgot about it.
Asked 3 staff to follow up they didn’t seem to care.
The Superviser Valerie came and apologies and fixed everything, If it was not for Valerie, I would have walked out already because I was very irritated that it was taking so long.
The table beside me was already eating even if I ordered 15 minutes before them and it felt like the dinning staff didnt care one bit.
The Dining Staff need sensitivity training and protocol training, I used to work at a Hotel Outlet in my passed life and I would always make sure the people that dine at that Outlet would leave with a smile and a full stomach, what the Dinning Staff of Kaipo made me feel was irritated and disappointed.
I hope...
