This is a 24-hour restaurant attached to the Casino in the Okada complex. We were able to get seated immediately, but it was awhile before anyone came to take our order. Also, for a group of 10, one would expect more than 1 menu for the table. Nevertheless, we ordered our food. The wait time was quite long, which surprised me as most of our orders were dismum, noodles, and some rice toppings. When the food did arrive, it was on batches, so we urged those whose orders had been served go go on an eat ahead. Based on the prices, frankly I expected more. The food quality was ok - but if you take into consideration the cost, well, it was sub par. The wait staff was as friendly as you'd expect, but I sensed some chaos going on as we received a 2nd dish of something that had arrived already. They took it back, but that to me was a sign of confusion on their end. Overall, this isn't probably a place I'd be back to. Funnily enough, I've given the same low rating to the Korean restaurant right in front of this one. Price - high Food quality - average Ambiance - average Overall experience - 3 out of 5

Our recent dining experience at Red Spice Okada warrants the following observations. The restaurant's ambiance is favorable, enhanced by its location within the hotel. However, the proximity to the casino area, without any physical barrier, results in exposure to cigarette smoke. While the menu prices are somewhat elevated relative to other establishments, the culinary offerings were, in our assessment, unremarkable to below average, particularly when your accustomed to authentic Chinese cuisine. A specific area for improvement is the Crispy Peking Spare Ribs. The dish lacked the expected crispiness and was excessively dry and difficult to consume. It appeared that the meat may have been pre-fried and then reheated with the sauce upon order. Although the sauce itself was palatable, the overall texture detracted from the enjoyment of the dish. The service provided was adequate, given the relatively low customer volume during our visit. We are open to revisiting the restaurant in the future, although not in the immediate term, based on this particular experience.

One of the worse restaurants I've been to in a long time. The food was not terrible, but also nothing to write home about. Where the fault comes in is the service. Absolutely hands down the lowest standard of service.

To start, we had a part of 10 and they gave us 3 menus. I asked for more menus and they gave me an extra two, everyone had to split a menu, not a great way to start.

Once the food came out, staff members just slammed the food on the table, clinging plates and sausage condiments around as they push things around.

Don't expect any remaining service check in after they deliver your food. No one came or walked by our table, I had to literally get out of my chair and walk to the front to flag a staff member down and ask if we could have our water refilled.

You'd think that that would be the end of it, perhaps they would check in more often, wrong. I had to get up a second time to ask for another water refill. When we were finished, we signed the bill and had it charged to the room.

We asked for some items to be boxes up and after about 20 mins they kindly brought back the togo bags.

We proceeded to exit the restaurant only to be confronted by a staff member accusing us of not paying. I asked what was the issue since I signed the printed receipt that they gave me.

I was informed that I couldn't charge it to my room due to some error. That's totally fine and acceptable, what wasn't acceptable was the fact that they had ample time to come notify me. They offered no explanation and gave me an attitude in a accusatory manner. I'm a paying customer at a high end hotel, I didn't run out of rushed everyone to the exit, I slowly walked out after you gave me the togo boxes. It's normal for a person to assume everything is good to go when you come say thank you while handing me my togo portions.

I'm not sure where the confusion was, but I would never come back here. For a hotel that is so nice, (Okada) this almost ruined our night.

Save yourself the nightmare and chose any other restaurant in the area. I've even had better service at fast food places.
