Hard Rock Cafe Manila located at S Maison Conrad hotel Pasay City, is a Cafe, Bar and American Restaurant all in one. Some might even consider it a gastropub type of resto. The restaurant brings live band performance on another level everyday from 7pm for the first band and 10pm for the second. The whole place felt like americana, a novelty store and a gourmet gastro pub all in one.
Our whole family enjoyed our time together had fun and barely noticed the time we spent here since we had good music, fun and laughter all the time. Personally, I came here several times before and had a consisten experience of entertainment. Truly, one of the best experiences to do in Manila.
The food is great at best and is not average at all in my opinion although understandably pricey, we expected it coming in. The food portions especially the burgers are large portions and is worth the taste. The drinks are plenty as per what we ordered the watermelon ice tea is refreshing but a bit sweet. The serving time is quite moderate, one can't even notice the serving time since there is good music playing.
The servers and the managers are exceptional. From the staff cleaning the restrooms assisting everybody was a touch of special effort on hard rocks part for me. The manager ms. Elaine visited our table and served us quite numerously and was very hands on to our needs. Lloyd our server very much single handedly catered to our every needs and we are grateful and we appreciate his effort and I felt deserved a special mention. International standard of safety and service was provided and the best of efforts were given by the whole team Hard Rock Cafe Manila.
The live band was great every night varies among bands all out performances and party vibes all night long is what we the customers visit for. Every band os different from the other which is quite the experience.
Overall, Hard Rock Cafe Manila is a must try for music lover to visit. Not only is it a landmark for music lover found all over the world. The best international standards of service and music will be provided to you as you enter their doors. We came in thinking Hard Rock offer food and music we came out knowing that they offered a good time for the whole family, a good food experience and a memorable musical fun time. We will definitely...
Read more⭐ 1-Star Review for Hard Rock Café Manila. You must pay an ₱800 non-consumable alcoholic drink cover charge just to enter—even if you’re there early, not drinking, and planning to spend thousands on food. (Sunday Evening Visit) BTW, I called ahead for a reservation and at no time did they say this and no where on the online reservation sites is this stated.
As an American living in the Philippines, I was excited to bring my Filipino friend to Hard Rock Café to experience the brand. We made the effort to drive 1.5 hours and arrived around 6:30 PM on a Sunday. To our surprise, the place was completely empty.
Before even being allowed to enter, we were told we had to purchase a ₱395 alcoholic drink each as a "cover charge." I looked at the "flyer" the hostess was holding which clearly stated the cover charge starts at 7:00 PM. We were early, and more importantly, we weren’t planning to drink since we were driving. We were planning to order food, eat and go home.
The staff insisted it was a mandatory charge "because of the band"—even though no band had started, no one else was inside, and it wasn’t yet 7 PM. It felt like an unnecessary and rigid policy that lacked flexibility or common sense.
As a Bistro Group member, I simply took my business elsewhere—to Buffalo Wild Wings, where we were welcomed without issue and enjoyed our meal. I understand establishments have policies, but they should also know when to be reasonable. Forcing customers to buy drinks before the advertised time is not just off-putting—it explains why no one was there.

Read moreIconic American chain of rock n' roll themed atmosphere. Cash and credit cards accepted. This particular outlet seems more oriented towards performances and features basically one major open area with tables and chairs.
Beautiful location overlooking the water, and great food. The Big Cheeseburger was not huge in size but definitely had lots of cheesy goodness going on. Cooked just right (slightly pink inside), juicy without being a hot mess. Served with french fries that were hot and crisp.
Paired with an Ultimate Long Island it's a great taste of America. Cocktails are really well-made.
Be forewarned - if there is live music they charge an additional per-person charge (basically ticket price). Also, their gift shop does not have all the normal Hard Rock bling - notably they don't carry shot glasses here. You have to go to the other Hard Rock location for those. Also, they don't serve onion rings as a side here - they only make them to put on the hamburgers that utilize them. Not sure who, that's just what I was told.
Service is quick...
