Lanson Place Mall of Asia is truly a home away from home, offering the perfect mix of comfort, and convenience, especially for families. Whether you’re visiting for business, leisure, or to take part in the many running races at the nearby MOA Parade Grounds, this hotel provides everything you need for an amazing stay.
Our family of six stayed in the Two-Bedroom Panorama Suite Residence, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The suite was spacious, elegantly designed, and offered the most beautiful views of Manila Bay and the city skyline. We have in-room high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, a fully equipped kitchen (with microwave and refrigerator), washer/dryer and helpful amenities like bathrobes, slippers, toiletries ironing board, safe, utensils, plates, cooking wear, and iPTV. Great for extended stays!
Breakfast at Cyan Modern Kitchen or the Resident’s Lounge – A fantastic way to start the day with a wide selection of local and international dishes. My kids loved the buffet selection and looked forward to breakfast every day!
Cyan has a much bigger variety of foods for breakfast but if you want more of a private and quiet dining experience head to the Resident’s Lounge.
Lunch & Dinner at Cyan Modern Kitchen – A must-visit for those who enjoy a really yummy buffet. They had sushi, soups, Indian corner, carving station, salad, fruit, pasta, bread and of course dessert! My favorite part of the buffet was the premium seafood section that includes crab, lobster, prawns and mussels. The premium buffet dinner option is offered only from Friday - Sunday. They also have great DIY soup station and DIY pasta section which my kids loved!
Madeleine High Tea – A nice afternoon experience with a selection of teas, pastries, and sweets in a relaxed, stylish setting. Loooove this! They even offer Cocktail Teas which is something I’ve never seen in any High Tea before. Great ambiance! It’s from 2pm-5pm, so you can have a snack and drink before dinner:)
Dinner at BLK12 Café | Bar – It’s a cafe in the morning. But turns into a bar at night. A great spot for unwinding with craft cocktails, fine wines, and delicious bites. My husband and I had a date here and loved it! Their tapas were AMAZING! Our favorites were: spinach dip, patatas bravas, lemongrass chicken skewers, pork sisig tostadas, and gambas al ajillo.
Infinity Pool – It’s a rooftop pool!! WOW! One of the highlights of our stay! The pool offers breathtaking views over Manila Bay and is perfect for both relaxation and family fun. Great for pictures too:)
Fitness Centre – Well-equipped with modern machines. I really like that they had a separate room for mat exercises.
Lanson Place is also situated just steps away from SM Mall of Asia (MOA), one of the largest shopping and entertainment complexes in the region. You can shop, dine, or explore nearby attractions.
I would love to mention the incredible staff that welcomed us:

This trip would’ve be possible without two special people; Rochelle and Aliza. So thank you girls for making our stay...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to the Philippines. (August 7 to 12). Although there was an issue with the check-in, it was resolved promptly and did not affect our overall enjoyment of our stay. The hotel is new, so everything is clean, including the rooms, bathrooms, and curtains. It's just a few minutes' walk to MOA and close to NAIA. I recommend this hotel to people traveling for business and those attending concerts at the Arena. I had a funny experience at the Cyan Modern Kitchen. When we went there for breakfast for the first time, I was wearing hotel slippers. Carlos at the reception informed us of the dress code, so I went back to our suite to change. I didn't mind it at the time, my bad. However, during breakfast, we noticed guests who were wearing sleepwear such as cycling shorts and t-shirts, and one lady was literally in silk short shorts lingerie (pink with black laces). We brushed it off and continued to enjoy our stay. However, on the fourth day during breakfast, my friend Carlos came over to our table to talk about the dress code. I was taken aback as I was wearing sneakers and a daytime pajama (which is a fashion statement, by the way!). I pointed out that it was my fourth day at the hotel and I had already seen people wearing much more casual outfits during breakfast. I let him know that my attire was suitable for going out. Although he apologized, I was still pretty annoyed. I had noticed other guests wearing cycling shorts, t-shirts, and slippers. There were also men in their gym gear and others in shorts and jerseys (with their armpits on full display). Please ensure that the dress code is consistently and fairly enforced. I believe that I may have been singled out due to being a Pinay, as I noticed some foreign guests wearing sleepwear without any intervention from the staff. I do not wish to cause any trouble for Carlos; in fact, I appreciate his hard work. I would like to suggest additional training for the team, perhaps including information on current fashion trends. I am based in a Middle Eastern country that is believed to be strict, but I have never experienced something like this before.
Overall, our stay was good, with the dinner buffet being a particular highlight. I would like to express my gratitude to Jove and the other staff members (whose names I unfortunately do not recall). I'd also like to mention the singkit lady (who did not have a nametag) who kindly reserved the last serving of taho during breakfast. Furthermore, Maui (?), the night shift lady guard, was consistently helpful, assisted us when the elevator was out of order one late evening, and even took photos for us...
Read moreThis is probably one of the easiest 2-star review that I'm able to give. It's actually really a no-brainer. I chose to stay here for the convenience that I wont have to drive to get to the Hoka Trilogy race the next morning. But since I've come here this stay has been anything but convenient. Now, as of writing, I have already checked in and gone through the headaches of what I'm about to describe.
Parking: They have insufficient parking that can not even accommodate 1/3 of the total number of guests they have (assuming it's 1 car per room)
Staff and Service: Incompetence is the standard here. No one can answer anything that you ask or give you a straight answer, the staff is borderline indifferent (which honestly if that's the case, none of them should be in the service sector). My first question was if they could assist me since they said their parking is full. They can would not assist me. TheirIn verbatim their staff said "we don't have parking I'm sorry" and they proceeded with giving their only recommendation and it's that I park my car half of a mile away at a different parking slot and then take it out before midnight and queue again at the hotel parking for a "chance" at a slot. Having no other choice, that's what I did. They even had the audacity to suggest I park my along the road, and I know that that's illegal and could get me clamped they said, "It is what it is."
Check-in process: Considering there were only 4 of us in line, we waited for more than half an hour to get checked in Considering our check-in time was 2pm and we arrived a little later to make sure we didn't have to wait since they should have everything ready as soon as we arrive. Our bags weren't brought up promptly and took almost another half hour to get our bags up to our room. They couldn't find the baggage number that they gave us and had to look for the bags we literally dropped off 5 minutes ago.
Room: basic at best. The aesthetic isn't at par with the price. Muted earth tones. Nothing befitting how they're trying to market this hotel as a high-end hotel.
Wifi: for those who need constant WiFi connection for work or other needs, throughout my entire stay the WiFi failed to work and they had an "engineer" check on the network multiple times to no avail. They suggest turning off your private DNS and VPN, but that doesn't work since the issue is in their router and network.
Overall, this room is not worth the Php 7,048 that I paid. You can find cheaper or better hotels at the same price point in Hong Kong, such as Royal Pacific Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Even with the price of the plane tickets it's still better deal...
