We had originally intended to dine at your Ayala Mall branch, which consistently gives off a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. However, due to a change in plans, we found ourselves at your Conrad location—and sadly, the experience was the complete opposite of what we had hoped for.
Upon arrival, we were met by a female staff member who displayed a noticeable lack of basic customer service. There was no smile—not even the courtesy of minimal acknowledgment. While we waited to be seated, my son asked for a glass as there was a water jar available in the waiting area. Unfortunately, even after a few minutes, no glass was provided.
Once seated, we placed our orders and were given glasses of water—only to find that one of them still had a visible lipstick mark. This was extremely unhygienic and off-putting. When we tried to call the staff’s attention to this, the same female staff member deliberately ignored us, even as we waved our hands directly in front of her.
It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant wasn’t full and there were enough staff present—most of whom seemed more engaged in their own conversations than attending to guests. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, which further added to our frustration. While another staff member eventually apologized for the lipstick-mark incident, by then, our appetite had already diminished.
After the meal, my husband settled the bill and was handed a paper bag which he assumed contained our leftovers. However, when we got home, we found a few pieces of buns, a dish we did not ordered, and an appetizer. It’s unclear whether this was meant as a form of service recovery or was handed to us by mistake, but frankly, it felt more like an afterthought than a sincere gesture. If it was intended as compensation, it unfortunately came across as more of an insult than a resolution.
We chose your restaurant with the expectation of good food paired with decent service, but our experience at the Conrad branch was disappointing on multiple levels—from hygiene to customer care. I hope this feedback encourages you to review and improve the quality of service and training at...

Read moreWe went here for my pre-birthday dinner last January 6. We were supposed to eat at a different restaurant but queue was long, which was a blessing in disguise.
My boyfriend had the 6-oz. (medium) sirloin steak. I chose mixed veggies and mashed potatoes for his sides. I ordered the pork ribs meal that came with Caesar salad and iced tea.
What I loved: Service was outrageously great -- They periodically checked if everything was going well. They proactively bought water and tissues even if we didn't ask. Steak was delicous. Hindi maanggo (not sure if this is the right term). They also ask you to check if your steak is to your liking upon serving. True to its reputation, their complementary bread is soft. Not the mamon kind of softness but it still had "body." It was a bit on the sweet side as it came with cinnamon butter that was not too strong. Although for me, I prefer a savory starter. Because of this, nabusog ako agad. haha Complementary peanuts were dry. I think they're baked, I'm not sure. My boyfriend described it as having a milky taste. They also have a separate can for the shells. Pork ribs were tender and had a rich smoky taste but it was pleasantly good, not overpowering. Iced tea really had that freshly-brewed taste. Their salt was not the typical ones used at home. It was flakely and hits different pero baka sakin lang kasi di ako sanay. lol The mashed potato was the bomb! Super sarap, ito ang nag-stand out for me. Caesar salad had the right amount of sauce. The croutons also was yummy in itself. Baka 'yong complementary bread nila ang gamit nila. Charm, who served us seemed to have telephatic abilities. haha I was waiting for her to finish talking with peeps from an adjacent table so I could ask her to take a picture. She immediately turned to us as if she anticipated what my request was.
I had a very great impression of Texas Roadhouse. Everythings was amazing. Honestly, it's a luxury for us to dine here but every cent was super worth it. We'll...
