This a really cool board game cafe that just opened up in Aninuan, a short walk from Puerto Galera. The owners were super nice and eager to try my new game out - I'm a game designer, by the way. The pizza was handcrafted and absolutely delicious! The coffee was yummy too.

Being a game designer who travels can be a little tricky, because setting up playtests is that much more of a challenge, even moreso when posting up in a small beach town in the Philippines. It was a great find and stroke of luck to come across this cafe.

I didn't get to take a photo of the Kani Pizza and the Chicken Teriyaki Pizza because they were gone sooner than I expected.😆 I called dibs on the Margherita which, I think, is the signature flavor that best highlights the taste of the crust. Yup, this is one of them pizzas whose crust deserve attention. My dough-critique companions give their 5-star rating to its puffy, chewy texture (I agree!), while my seal of approval goes to its smokey flavor, especially on the edges. All handmade.
