Wish I could give 5*... best choice for vegans in Puerto Princesa (really the only choice 😂). My boyfriend and I ate the 4 days we were in PP here because we loved the burrito and tempeh fries so much. It's great if you just stick to those 2 dishes!! Veggie curry is also good but very rich in spices.
However, the Carob drink is very unpleasant. We just had our last meal there and decided to try something different and regretted it. Got the chimichanga which is more expensive than the burrito and far far smaller (just bigger than a spring roll so tiny). More over it's filled with sausage and olives (very weird).... that's not what a chimichanga is and it's very misleading when the burrito is filled with beans and veg.... i couldn't eat it so my boyfriend had it. Also ordered the tempeh steak which is nice but tiny again. Very very few veggies came with it which was disappointing. Also I asked how much a plate of steamed broccoli would be and the waitress responded "30 pesos", and just to be sure, I said "30 pesos?" In a clear voice and she said yes. Then the bill comes and we'd ordered 3 portions and it turns out she charged us actually 130 pesos EACH.... so poor communication, the waitress seems to respond yes without really making sure she understands otherwise we wouldn't have spent so much on just broccoli! So make sure she understands what you want.
My opinion - the portions are small but also varied (beware) and the sides cost just as much as the mains. Very unclear menu. Just stick to the burrito, tempeh fries and veg curry and you'll like it as these are all very tasty! Make sure to repeat yourself over and over again or write it down because we lost a lot of money because of this...

Read moreThis is a rare find in The Phillipines, where it's had to get good vegetarian food. Whether or not you are Vegetarian/Vegan, like many of the reviews here, I can agree that the food is delicious and I'd highly recommend it. We thought the portions may be small given the price, but we're pleasantly surprised. Both my husband and I left with full bellies on the main dishes we ordered (red bean burrito and spicy bean burger).
It is owned by a lovely couple who are clearly passionate about good quality vegetarian food. We spoke to Ima, who's an absolute delight. She told us they baked their own bread, so of course we had to buy a loaf, and luckily enough, there was one going!!
Keep going Ima, you are doing a great job providing a wonderful service for those looking to eat healthy without having to pay an arm and left for it.

Read moreThe previous time I gave 5 stars. This time one 3. Here why: 🔝- food very good and yummy 😉 Now the bad staff. Please owner don't take it bad but take it as suggestion to improve your delicious restaurant 😁 service extra slow considering there were only 10 people (including 2 of us). We arrived at 19 and finished at 20.30 ( I ordered 2 dishes, my friend only one) . after I finished my first dishes, I was still waiting for my drink (at the end I cancelled it). -SAFETY PLEASE!!!!! ⛔⛔⛔ The owner need to improve the plug systems. It was extra hot and the fans were on but a wire was right in the middle of the way (see photos). Staff and customers needed to step over all the time, especially the staff with the risk to fall. Please put new plugs on the other side of the restaurant to plug the fans keeping safe staff and...
