Aside from poor quality of frappes and other drinks, the cashier or the person who's always in charge of taking orders is arrogant and disrespectful. Just because HE sees a new person get in doesn't mean he could be judgmental right away. First of all, just because a Filipino speaks English to you, doesn't mean you could act superior and speak the language yourself with pride and arrogance. You sir, don't even speak the language fluently enough to be superior. It's not right to laugh at a customer for ordering something he/she's not familiar about. Do you know everything, mister? How about enumerating to me all the words in the English language and providing their meanings? I suggest you stop being so over-confident and be HUMBLE enough so that people will like you and your cafe even if it doesn't serve the best coffee in town. You guys are not like Starbucks or Bo's to feel like you guys are the best. I liked your cafe at first, honestly, but now I'm raging with disgust over what just happened tonight. Deal with this before you lose...
Read moreI was very impressed by the cafe, with good collections of 12" records, technics turntable. Both indoor AC seating and outdoor alfresco seats. Ordered a pork sisig (the price quoted is only sis and rice you have to pay extra) with rice and an americano. Food and coffee is alright but I have to ask the waiting staff for a glass of water (which was never topped up even when I dry it), the Americano was served half way through my meal even though I specifically told the waiting person to be served after the meal. Lastly, they wanted to charge a 4% service charge if I were to pay by card.......so far they are the only cafe in Philippines which did that and I told them so too. Good wifi and a few power point...
Read moreThe place is really cute, but the food was not up to par. Do not waste your money to order the quesadilla because it was just sad, thin, no nothing inside (check pics) and took forever. Also the strawberry yogurt shake is just water, strawberry flavored syrup and ice. No yogurt whatsoever inside. Also impossible to drink as its ice thats not blended well. The least it should be served with a big straw. It just wouldn’t go through the straw. The only good thing was the pesto pasta, good portion, but just a few small pieces of chicken. We didnt try the coffee so can’t comment on that.
Update: looking at the response from the owner, you can tell why the place is ghetto way it...
