As a Bacolodnon constantly on the lookout for authentic inasal in the Metro, I was excited to try Bacolod Chicken Parilla. The menu felt very true to Bacolod, which immediately set my expectations high. I ordered the Chicken Inasal Pecho, and while it was juicy, I found the flavor bland compared to Aida’s or JT’s. I was also disappointed to see that they didn’t provide Chicken Oil, a staple for most inasal enthusiasts. Additionally, I tried the baticulon. While the serving size was generous compared to other inasal spots, the taste left much to be desired, and it seemed like the baticulon could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, but what really stood out—unfortunately not in a good way—was the service. My interaction with a middle-aged server left me uncomfortable. When she returned my change, I fel that she hinted at wanting a tip by showing me a red envelope tucked at her waist and mentioning that a regular customer had tipped her. As a first-time customer, this felt inappropriate and unprofessional, even if it was meant in excitement. Despite these issues, I’m not writing Bacolod Chicken Parilla off entirely. I might return to try other Ilonggo dishes like cansi, hoping for a better experience next time.

Been waiting for anybody to ask me if I would like to dine. I saw a vacated table and sat there expecting anyone to ask anything. I called the attention of at least three service crew to bust out the dishes only to be met by “the hand”. Waited 25 mins for anyone to ask me if I ordered. No stars for service. Place is ok with regard to dining, could be better. Food seems ok. Would’ve ordered more if they’re more attentive. Good but nothing to rave about. If it wasn’t for the service, the place and food could have been more enjoyable. Sorry I don’t post negative reviews much but the experience was not nice. Im not a demanding person but this too much. Maybe this might be a one time thing but I am not willing to try their service again.

The food was so delicious, I have nothing to complain about….But … We were very disappointed with the service .first We ordered garlic rice, but they gave us plain rice instead. 2nd When i asked for chicken oil, the server rudely shouted WALAA!! We let it go, but the customer behind us asked for the same thing, and was given it immediately?? Additionally While we were still eating, they started clearing our table, taking away the soy sauce and vinegar etc. I even asked them nicely to wait, but it didn’t help. Really disappointing experience despite the good food!

We honestly felt belittled and disrespected by the staff. Such treatment is...
