We had an overnight stay here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We wanted a room with a tub so we booked their executive suite.
Check-in: The check-in was smooth. There's a ₱2,000 incidental deposit which they returned upon check-out. They were able to accommodate our request for a higher floor. They even gave us a complimentary welcome dessert which we appreciated.
Room & Amenities: The room is as large as it looks in the photos. The interiors are nice and modern. It has a smart TV with a few cable channels and the usual streaming apps (you would need to log into your account to use them). The mattress feels like memory foam, or maybe it has a memory foam topper, either way it was really comfortable.
Hairdryers had to be requested from the front desk. There's a small sink and a microwave near the entrance which is unusual for a hotel room but we were able to use it during our stay. There's a mini fridge and safe as well. The complimentary items (slippers, shampoo/shower gel, dental kits, etc.) are on the economical side and a bit difficult to use. Good thing we brought our own.
The infinity pool on the roof deck is visually nice despite its size. It has a good view of the surrounding area. However, getting in and out of the pool was quite difficult since it only had a small steel ladder and did not have any steps.
There were water dispensers on all common areas which are really convenient.
Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel was clean but not quite as clean as I would've liked. The floor in our room was dusty which made a muddy mess whenever we would walk into the white tiled bathroom floor. However, we understand that they are a fairly new hotel and might still be in the process of cleaning all the debris that had accumulated during construction.
TL;DR Recommended for couples and staycations. Rooms are good,...
Read moreour experience at harolds evotel was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. first of all, there weren’t enough toiletry kits available for the total number of guests staying in each room. no slippers in some rooms, either. supply was very inconsistent.
second, the breakfast buffet didn’t serve RICE to complement their breakfast dishes. for our conference, the food they served was also very repetitive - from the snacks to the main dishes. they also disregarded our special requests for the food and deviated from the agreed upon menu.
third, the restaurant area was SO crowded at one point in our stay because there were so many events and forums happening all at once - and so near each other too! because the restaurant itself was also booked for an event, they crammed all dining guests in the HALLWAY without AC, with little to no space to walk around, and right in front of the elevator. it was so busy that the staff couldn’t keep up with guests coming and going.
fourth, and most disappointing of all, our conference room was DOUBLE-BOOKED for our last day and the manager only informed us 10PM the night before they needed us to transfer out of the room. it was such an inconvenience.
they take CONTRACTS for granted and were very very unapologetic about their mistakes. rude about them too.
the management needs to do better because their staff are the ones who suffer on their behalf. and their GUESTS !!!
if you’re thinking about booking harolds evotel for your work functions,...
Read moreI visited Harolds Evotel Quezon City last time for a Philhealth Seminar/Event, and I was very impressed by the hotel.
For me, the location is perfect, right on Timog Avenue, where there are many restaurants and bars to choose from.
The hotel is also close to some office buildings and government agencies, which makes it convenient for business travellers.
I have no chance to stay in their rooms (hopefully soon I can try it and mag staycation dito) When I have a chance to see a room, for me the room was spacious, minimalist, clean, and cozy, with a comfortable bed, a TV, a mini fridge and a coffee maker and more.
The bathroom was also nice, with a hot shower and toiletries.
They have an infinity pool, as per staff mentioned, but I'm sad to say I was not able to check it for you.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the internship student. The hotel also had a restaurant and a bar, but I didn't get to try them.
They have an event place perfect for different occasions or events. The food that served during that time was ang sarap talaga, I love the soup nila and unlimited coffee. During that time, I can say na alagang alaga kami ng mga staff, and if we need something, nandyan sila to assist us.
Hopefully, soon, I can back again sa Harolds...
