During our recent visit to Samyan at Robinsons Magnolia's Public Eatery, we were introduced to an intriguing vision of Thai cuisine that prides itself on being approachable, hands-on, and featuring a DIY-style meal.
We ordered the following dishes
DIY: Chicken Kra Tiem w/ Jasmin Rice & Egg Sunny Side Up (₱380) Despite the overall filling nature of the dish, we found the flavor to be a bit off, leaning towards the saltier side. Additionally, the dish was unexpectedly oily, deviating from the expected texture.
Thai Milk Tea (₱170) While hitting the sweet and creamy notes, left us expecting a more pronounced richness of the black tea

Read moreSAMYAN Thai Street Food is a gem that truly deserves its Thai SELECT THAI CUISINE Award from the Ministry of Commerce, Thailand, for the years 2021-2023 and 2024-2027. This accolade is well-earned, as their food is nothing short of divine.
During my visit, I had the Shrimp Tom Yum, and it was an explosion of flavors – the perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory. The shrimp was fresh and cooked to perfection, adding a delightful texture to the soup.
My mom opted for the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was absolutely TDF (to die for). I must admit, I had a bit of food envy and wished I had chosen the fried rice over plain rice. The fried rice was flavorful, aromatic, and packed with generous portions of shrimp, making every bite a delight.
Whether you’re craving a comforting bowl of Tom Yum or some delectable fried rice, SAMYAN Thai Street Food is the place to go. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their delicious offerings.

The papaya salad is also salty. The sticky mango rice is abit dry. The drinks is too sweet also. Il not recommend this resto if you are not a salty person. Plus we waited for almost half and hour. Bad food and...
