Thoroughly disappointed with Chocolat's Xavierville branch.

First, pin on waze/gmaps was way off.

Second, their staff made it feel like they didnt want you there. The manager who prepared the iced coffee was stabbing their ice-in-plastic-bag with such ferocity that you'd legitimately feel that something was wrong. To think that I was there with my friends, persuading them about Chocolat after having painstakingly navigated through their poorly located and improperly pinned branch. What a huge mistake! Panira ng araw, birthday ko pa naman.

Even the server brushed off the small talk about how Xocolat sounded like Chocolat while tutting and tsking the fact that we didnt have smaller bills. Impertinence and laughably pathetic customer service by example by managment, aptly followed by the rank and file. Xocolat owners and managment, please take note that I took the time to draft this scathing review just to express how disappointed I was with your Katipunan branch. Dont jeopardize the established reputation and goodwill of your enterprise for unworthy staff.

I GRAB-ordered their ICED LATTE and Dark Chocolate Cake. I was not expecting much from their coffee since it was only priced P85. So when it got to me, it tasted like one of the worst iced coffee I tasted. Inubos ko lang kasi sayang naman. Parang hindi na-brew ng maayos yung espresso at hindi nag-blend lahat from the ground coffee to the milk. What a total waste!

The cake was average though, not spectacular. Overall, I would suggest that you order the coffee float from McDo less expensive pa at P50+ lang.

I have long wanted to come to this place and finally i had that chance. The cakes didnt disappoint but the place did. All along I thought this was a cafe or coffe shop/resto just like the other place who has the same sort of pronunciation of their names (but different first letter.)
