super overdue review but cara cafe i love u ♥️ all these pics are from separate visits each because i love this place that much.
the carabao milk makes their drinks so unique!! i love the spanish latte, it isn't toothachingly sweet so the coffee isn't lost on you, and the creaminess of the milk is satisfying. on days when i'm not in a coffee mood, the roselle lemonade is really refreshing hehe i love the flavor, and when i don't feel like having it too sour, i let the ice melt in my drink to dilute it a little and it lasts longer HAHA. i also really like the kouign-amann! the spinach cheese quiche is okay, it's a lot of crust which i'm not the biggest fan of 🥹
also love the service here, the staff are always super nice!! they enforce their house rules which i think puts some people off but to be honest, for free wifi + sockets i think they're all fair. especially since this is a small business!!
what sold me on their professionalism was this one evening where a customer was being SUPER rude. as in complaining so loudly and fully berating the staff like whats wrong with youuuu. anyway the way the barista on shift stood up for herself while still addressing the customer's concern was a class act. then after that whole ordeal, she personally approached all our tables to check up on us and ask us if WE were okay 😭
i won't put her name here for her privacy but queen...
Read morei’ve been to cara cafe quite a few times and it’s both so inviting and literally close to home. i’ve done my work from cafes here or just hanging out with friends.
they have a concentrated menu, really unique in the carabao milk centric general idea. not a lot of cafes in the metro place carabao milk as their highlight, so it’s a refreshing take. they also widely use kesong puti in their drinks, so that’s one more local bit i appreciate.
through my visits, mostly no photos, i’ve tried their signature drinks and was satisfied. have also recently tried their matcha, though not the best quality matcha, still was satisfactory.
they have a small place that could sit roughly 5 small groups, including the little space upfront by the entrance before you enter. best of all, if you’re looking for a place that’s open until midnight, this is it. they’re open until 1am and really...
Read moreWent here on a Sunday morning. Malamig, maliwanag at efficient staff kahit isa lang siya :) matcha is good per my dad who lived in Japan, it tastes the same. He ordered another one after having his Spanish latte. Gusto ko I try dito kasi they used carabao milk. My sister had their strawberry cloud with kesong puti and she liked it!
We had matched latte, pain au chocolat, croissant, and spinach cheese quiche. I liked the quiche kaso malamig yung gitna. But masarap yung bread. You can ask them to re heat naman. Overall, I would recommend. They play good...
