A cute place to have a good meal. Pricey for its target market which is obviously teens from nearby college and Universities. Place is quiet small. The 2nd floor is packed with teens drinking and partying. They have a band or a couple of singing duo's on a Friday night. They had the microphone blasting same as the music that causes feedback. For a tiny place you can't have such loud music when people on the ground floor prefer to talk and have a decent conversation. Price of a bottle of tequila is P300 more compared to bars in Eastwood. Oysters for 5pcs can be way too pricey. Service is good though but they only have 3 servers on a busy Friday night. They also have 10% SC. Tipple and Slaw is located in the Pop Up at Katipunan. The atmosphere is lively with music and lots of other restaurants and bars. The restaurant is located on by the entrance and has a nice spot if you want a little privacy. The outdoor seating is nice or you can choose indoor seating on the main level. They also have an upstairs that is used for DJ and dancing. The menu is more upscale than most restaurants in the pop up, but the food is a good value for the money. The service is quick and friendly. Our sever, a women, was so nice and helpful. She told us about the popular dishes and also about the restaurant. We had a fried chicken and rice dish and the Chicken rice shawarma, both excellent. The menu had so many great options that we will have to come back again.
