CoCo Ichibanya Banawe — Restaurant in Quezon City

I was looking to try a new restaurant near Banawe then we passed by and suddenly we saw this newly opened CoCo Ichibanya (I guess not long ago) so I decided to dine here already with my family. This is the third time I dined in this Japanese curry chain restaurant (from different stores) which my family love also. This place is next to UCC and Starbucks which we always hang out in these coffee shops.

As usual, our favourite curry sauce is the winner here but this time I tried the spiciness to level 4 from level 3 which is still tolerable for me. I also tried something new which is Shrimp Cutlet Curry from my usual Pork Cutlet Curry which is also not bad and well cooked. The serving is always big so if you're a big fan of Japanese rice or dishes then this is more than enough as this is very filling or this can be shared also by two people if you're not...

Read a lot of rave reviews about this resto so we decided to give it a try but ended up being disappointed. At the same price point, you would get a side dish, soup, or at least a hot tea at other japanese restos.

We ordered the breaded pork and seafood curry, we liked the curry sauce but the pork was so thin and the breading too thick. On the other hand, the seafood didn’t seem fresh and tasted like the frozen seafood you can buy at a grocery store.
