IDIM DIY Bakery — Restaurant in Quezon City

Overall we had fun. But, our experience could have been better. When we came in at 2pm, the place was reserved for an event and was told that we can go back at 5pm, hence, we did go back at the said time. However, we still had to queue for 1 hr before we can go inside though that queue is not that long. They have to train their staff on how to do things efficiently so this will not happen again.

The tools in the place are complete, and there will be a tablet provided so you can follow the instructions. The staff are approachable and ready to assist the customers.

For the ingredients, I just hoped that they don’t use a chocolate mix cake. It takes away the fun in baking. Maybe it is better to make it from scratch rather than a ready mix. If I have known this, I would have chosen other flavor of cakes instead or opt to buy it in the grocery and...

A not so good first and as a beginner experience for this reasons: (1) There is no proper system for how many people can use the facility! It was a day na super crowded and people are having a tough time on the station where you're supposed to design the cakes you made. (2) Understaffed - For us first timers to not have the assistance we need with the steps that you're supposed to ask for help is so 🚩🚩🚩 SO BEWARE PO on going to this place if you don't have any prior experience to baking.

Tho it's a plus that almost all of the ingredients are available ✅ Not until maubos na iyon then you have to wait for the staffs to refill WHICH IS NOT FAST ENOUGH for you to think about the time limit na they gave you to finish your baking experience 🙂👍🏻 Sulit...

Tried IDIM DIY Bakery during my birth month and got a free cake—nice surprise! The experience itself was fun, but definitely a bit of a rush since we had to finish baking two cakes in just 1.5 hours. If you have zero baking experience, expect a little pressure, but that’s part of the challenge!

Just a heads-up: don’t come here expecting a super delicious cake. This is more of an interactive, hands-on experience than a place for premium baked goods.
