Place has good offerings of hotpot items. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the SM North The Block building with a large floor area with alot of tables that can cater to a few to a large number of guests. Though since MECQ currently, they are limiting the number of guests inside to strictly follow the health protocol guidelines. Very neat and tidy and well litted. Nice display.section of thier food items whether for thier raw, vegetable items for hotpot or thier hit ala carte items snd dimsums. For the menu items, I like thier soup base (Spicy Mala and Sinigang) as the soup itself stayed true to the taste, not watered down unlike other hotpot joints. They have good beef slices with adequate marbling and lean fats which is good for dipping it into your hotpot soup of your choice. Raw prawns is also available for grilling or hotpot (small to medium sized). Marinated meats for both beef and seafood is for your indulgence as well. Dimsums is also included in the buffet, I recommend the hakaw which is good as the others tasted dry and bland. But their ebi tempura is to go back to back for, one of the best tempuras I tasted. Perfect balance of seasonings with excellent batter and deep-fried to perfection. Unlimited drinks is included as well, though just a touch dissapointing since only 2 sodas as available (root beef and mountain dew) as they told me the other pepsi products were either pulled out or unavailable. But they do have brewed coffee available with different blends but when I came to this place only the "Black Coffee" is available for consumption. Dessert has your typical ice cream choices with thier line of pastries and cream based souffles. As for thier staff, very accomodating since the manager "Maricel" itself came to our table when I told them thier siomai dimsum has some "aftertaste" and they were able to immediately resolve the issue and and served me with a freshly made one. They also have their condiments bar where their chef at the station will make the concoction of your choice and they were able to fix the blend for you if your satisfied with it as the manager will take care of it for you too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Will be coming back. Kindly give a LIKE 👍 if this helps! Follow ME for my other REVIEWS!

This is my first time trying out to eat on a Shabu Shabu and Grilling restaurant. At first I was hesitant and so ignorant what what should I do, but the staff are so knowledgeable, friendly, accommdating, and most of all, they are so patient despite the fact of giving out service to too many people this holiday (January 2nd). One of the staff (I forgot to ask his name) helped me out on what food goes best with this soup base and that soup base. He highly recommended their best soup base for shabu shabu: laksa and sate. It goes very well with beefs and pork and dumplings. You may also try out sinigang, which goes very well with seafood. The manager, Ms. Joy, she is so friendly and accommdating and she tends all the needs of the customer. If you love to try out an Eat All You Can Shabu Shabu and Grilling, I totally recommend this place. Food selection: They have a wide variety of seafood, from squid to salmons and shrimp. The raw food section is divided into to, seafood and pork/beef. The spread of raw seafood is typical Chinese selections (mix of red meat and organ meats). Dessert is also good, and I totally liked the Avacodo Ice Cream, which you can't see much on other restaurants, even on Vikings. Ambiance: The place is fantasic! The theme is a combination of Chinese and somewhat Italian, I guess? And it is so clean and well prepared! The table is nicely done. I see kids on high chairs, too. Comfort room is also well maintained. Friendliness: All I can say is hands down and kudos to all the staff and the management of this branch. They are so friendly and so accommodating. If you need help, they will gladly assist you.

If there is 0 rating for service, this place deserves it. Especially the manager of this place Darell /Daryl. He is very rude and should not manage this restaurant. I was waiting to be seated for an eatigo reservation and he said you cannot be seated even though there are tables available and we are 15 mins early from our reservation. He acted like we owe it to him to be dining in this restaurant. He was unaccomodating and looks like he hates his job. The girl on the dessert area I think needs more training, when I asked for an Ice cream she started tapping the service table... I asked..."Is there something you need help with?" and she answered get the container underneath. Smh 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ The place is not even safe as wirings underneath one of the table near the restroom sparked like it was gonna explode anytime. Faulty electric wirings + Gas line = Disaster waiting to happen. Good thing no one was in that area anymore when it happened. Defintely not coming back.

The restaurant is located inside the SM North EDSA The Block. The place is large and really can accommodate a group of people. The vibe is quite a rustic feeling since the ambiance is a bit dark. The staff are nice and accommodating. There are many food options to choose from raw food for the hotpot and grilling and ready to eat food. There are around 10 cooked ready to eat food options to choose and the majority is raw foods for the hotpot and grilling. The raw meat were good especially the seafood. No foul smell or pungent taste. They also have a wide range of sauces to choose and mix and match. The date and mushroom broth we chose were good. Overall we had a great experience.

One of the most unique fusion restaurants where you can grill and have a shabu-shabu in one spot. You get to choose from 6 of their broths I ordered sinigang which you can put anything you prefer that have a lot of seafood and meat choices by the way you have your own individual broth so you can customize your own cause there's a lot to close from you can grill anything from seafoods to beef, pork & chicken as well as internal organs. They also have plenty of balls that you can put on your shabu shabu you have a choice from squid to chicken balls as well as cheese balls. They do have a sauce area where you can spice things up. Food is good you really get what you pay for.

Its been awhile since we dined here. In the past we really like to dine here. But this time not a good experience. Service was really bad no staff roaming to collect empty plates, staff so slow to refill cook food even they just reheat the food. I saw pack food are already cook and they just warm it again in the wok and its still cold when i ate it. Dimsum area staff are also so slow to refill and when i ask him he didnt even answer back so i just return to our table. This is the worst experience we had in all vikings resto. Management should train their staff not only on cooking but more on hospitality and respect for the customer.
