Place has good offerings of hotpot items. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the SM North The Block building with a large floor area with alot of tables that can cater to a few to a large number of guests. Though since MECQ currently, they are limiting the number of guests inside to strictly follow the health protocol guidelines. Very neat and tidy and well litted. Nice display.section of thier food items whether for thier raw, vegetable items for hotpot or thier hit ala carte items snd dimsums. For the menu items, I like thier soup base (Spicy Mala and Sinigang) as the soup itself stayed true to the taste, not watered down unlike other hotpot joints. They have good beef slices with adequate marbling and lean fats which is good for dipping it into your hotpot soup of your choice. Raw prawns is also available for grilling or hotpot (small to medium sized). Marinated meats for both beef and seafood is for your indulgence as well. Dimsums is also included in the buffet, I recommend the hakaw which is good as the others tasted dry and bland. But their ebi tempura is to go back to back for, one of the best tempuras I tasted. Perfect balance of seasonings with excellent batter and deep-fried to perfection. Unlimited drinks is included as well, though just a touch dissapointing since only 2 sodas as available (root beef and mountain dew) as they told me the other pepsi products were either pulled out or unavailable. But they do have brewed coffee available with different blends but when I came to this place only the "Black Coffee" is available for consumption. Dessert has your typical ice cream choices with thier line of pastries and cream based souffles. As for thier staff, very accomodating since the manager "Maricel" itself came to our table when I told them thier siomai dimsum has some "aftertaste" and they were able to immediately resolve the issue and and served me with a freshly made one. They also have their condiments bar where their chef at the station will make the concoction of your choice and they were able to fix the blend for you if your satisfied with it as the manager will take care of it for you too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Will be coming back.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my first time trying out to eat on a Shabu Shabu and Grilling restaurant. At first I was hesitant and so ignorant what what should I do, but the staff are so knowledgeable, friendly, accommdating, and most of all, they are so patient despite the fact of giving out service to too many people this holiday (January 2nd). One of the staff (I forgot to ask his name) helped me out on what food goes best with this soup base and that soup base. He highly recommended their best soup base for shabu shabu: laksa and sate. It goes very well with beefs and pork and dumplings. You may also try out sinigang, which goes very well with seafood. The manager, Ms. Joy, she is so friendly and accommdating and she tends all the needs of the customer. If you love to try out an Eat All You Can Shabu Shabu and Grilling, I totally recommend this place.
Food selection: They have a wide variety of seafood, from squid to salmons and shrimp. The raw food section is divided into to, seafood and pork/beef. The spread of raw seafood is typical Chinese selections (mix of red meat and organ meats). Dessert is also good, and I totally liked the Avacodo Ice Cream, which you can't see much on other restaurants, even on Vikings.
Ambiance: The place is fantasic! The theme is a combination of Chinese and somewhat Italian, I guess? And it is so clean and well prepared! The table is nicely done. I see kids on high chairs, too. Comfort room is also well maintained.
Friendliness: All I can say is hands down and kudos to all the staff and the management of this branch. They are so friendly and so accommodating. If you need help, they will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently dined at a shabu shabu restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant featured a cozy, inviting atmosphere with an elegant yet minimalist design. The service was prompt and attentive, with staff members eager to explain the shabu shabu cooking process and offer recommendations.
The quality of the ingredients was outstanding. The thinly sliced meats, particularly the beef, were incredibly tender and flavorful. The array of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and tofu provided a delightful balance to the meal. The broth options were diverse, ranging from traditional dashi to spicy miso, each adding its unique depth of flavor.
The interactive dining experience, where you cook your own food at the table, added a fun and engaging element to the meal. Overall, this shabu shabu restaurant delivered a delightful culinary experience, combining top-notch ingredients with excellent service in a warm, inviting setting. Highly recommended for both shabu shabu enthusiasts and...
