Whenever the yuppies are out and takes over our favorite restaurants, most likely the restaurants available are those of the "tanders". For years Little Quiapo has been a popular place to get pansit, at that night, we tried it. This place has a whole array of foods with selection of some western and eastern foods but predominantly made up of lutong bahay Filipino foods. it is really like just....eating at home. BIG SHORT ORDER SERVING However, we can say that one order can feed many. We did not expect that the big servings will make us full. One bowl of Tinola short order is really big. However, it is not that cheap. But one order is worth it. The order of crispy bangus was really crispy and it is a one whole big serving. The bangus is also big. NO SERVICE CHARGE It is a nice place with no service charge. The place also has a great theme and design in the place and considering this place is legendary and historical. It really is a good experience. It is just that... it it still lutong bahay... there is nothing extraordinary about it. I gusess I should make a review of Baliwag and Sangkalan just to be fair.

Filipino resto that doesn’t disappoint! I highly recommend these dishes: 1. Palabok. First time to encounter a palabok with tokwa as one of toppings, I was skeptical at first but the moment I tried it, jaw drop. The sauce was rich, you could taste how the seafoods were fused in it. Generous din sa sauce. 2. Beef Nilaga. Hindi tinipid sa beef chunks. There’s a decent amount of vegetables (potato, saging na saba, string beans, cabbage). 3. Crispy pata. For 995 you get a mountainful of crunchy pata, they already chopped it from the moment they serve it. Sauce is good but personally I like it with a lot of siling labuyo (which you can request naman) 4. Sisig bowl. Perfect for breakfast! Ri rin masyadong maanghang kaya perfect for those na hindi mahilig sa spicy. Malaman tapos marami raming kanin. Di rin nakakaumay 5. Drinks: Mango shake, melon macapuno, strawberry shake 6. Halo halo. Hands down, solid to!

We checked out this place out of curiosity after seeing a couple of influencers make a positive vlog. They’ve highly recommended to try and enjoy the palabok and the halo halo. I’m giving Little Quiapo 5 stars for the service and the atmosphere. However, as we were tasting and eating our food, my fellow diner and I had the same thoughts. We ordered for palabok x2 (155 each), tokwa’t baboy (440) and the smallest sized halo halo x2 (170 each). The taste of the palabok was ordinary and so was the dessert. It was not as impeccable nor as flavorsome as described by the influencers. Hence, our expectation was not met.

We always eat palabok here and the taste never changed. Staff are always accommodating but also always busy during peak hours - lunch and dinner time. They have good halo-halo and gulaman too. It’s our go-to palabok! They have a bigger QC branch now and can accommodate more people. The place has a very homey vibe, good for family gatherings. Most of their dishes are Filipino cuisine. The parking area in front is limited and it’s very hard to park when it’s crowded. Other establishments in the area are very strict, you’re lucky if you get one without getting towed. 😆 Generous serving and worth it for its price.

Little Quiapo in Malakas street, Pinyahan, Quezon City is an old time favorite of people from all walks of life especially those with discriminating taste for authentic Filipino food/menu. The likes of pancit bihon, pancit canton, pancit Malabon, pancit luglog, goto, lugaw, arrozcaldo, halo halo, Kare Kare, Crispy pata, pakbet, and many more will surely fill your hungry stomach. Whether its a full meal or merienda, one will surely enjoy their servings and the kind of service they provide. Servings are quite big, ample parking space and friendly service staff. Highly recommended.😊😊😊😊😊

They offer a whole lot of choices on their menu. We ourselves getting their pancit, sisig, goto and halo-halo. Everything was tasty. We're so full that we still had to take home the pancit. They also have pasalubong section which had a lot of options too from otap, chicharon, patillas, sampalok and many more. The crew were attentive and helpful. They are currently undergoing renovations and construction so the place is quite cramped. Parking could be a problem during this time. Good thing there's a manong that assisted us to park across the street.
