The service, food, and drinks were great, just like in most Starbucks branches. I tried the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie and I liked it a lot! Besides being addicted to marshmallows, I do love me a good red velvet, and theirs was good! Going in a different direction though, the ambiance of the branch is lagging behind every other Starbucks I've been to. I started going there back in 2010 and the last time I was there as a regular was in 2016 before I graduated from Trinity University of Asia. They hadn't changed or fixed anything in there since then, as far as I know. I did go there once in mid-2022 with my friends but it was jam-packed and we ordered takeout, so I didn't really notice how dated and damaged the place really was. But tonight, I noticed. The ceiling panels are all discolored and dingy now, the paint has air bubbles from either moisture or water damage, there's a hole in the wall near the bathroom, and it's overall just not as sleek, spaceous, bright, and modern as the other branches. I don't know how a Starbucks branch can renovate if there is always a demand for it in the area, but that branch definitely has seen better days and needs a proper renovation. 😐

Starbucks at E. Rodriguez is pretty much the same as other branches of Starbucks. They serve the same menu such as various kinds of coffee and tea. They have many selections of pastries and a pasta option. The store was well air-conditioned and clean. There are several tables and chairs inside and outside the store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The establishment has a cozy ambience without too many students loitering around. I like this store. You can get to this café via public vehicles and private cars as well.

Not sure why the manager on duty, when asked for a straw so that we can drink the iced tea we just paid for, rudely said that we need to step out of their establishment if we want to consume their drinks with a straw. Sounded quite absurd that after purchasing drinks and pastries, we'd be asked to step out of their establishment, not for covid-related reasons, but simply because we asked for straw to consume their drinks. The straws they have, by the way, are the paper-type straws, which melt away after spending some time being submerged in any wet environment. I would understand supporting a no-straw campaign if their straw was plastic, but theirs was paper-based, so being (rudely) asked by the manager on duty to step out after we asked for straws, did not really make sense. Again, if the Manager on Duty asked us to consume their food and beverage outside due to covid reasons, I would have perfectly understood. However, they do ask proof of vaccination upon entry, and only those who have been vaccinated are allowed to dine inside. And being told verbatim: "you can eat and drink here but if you want to use straws, you will have to step outside" in a very stern and rude manner was just a bit too much for us especially after being loyal starbucks customers for two decades now, and knowing the standard of customer experience they always try to uphold. Will not go to this branch again.

I wanna commend this Starbucks location for the MOST ORGANIZED and smoothest transaction I’ve had for a very big event like this (StarbucksXBlackpink release), the manager was very clear and prompt. The staff were prepared and ready to take our orders. Grabe! we got all of what we need right there and then and it only took us few minutes. Napaka-approachable ng manager and staff. Pati guard inalalayan pa kami sa parking and sa pagpila. Napaka-bait nilang lahat!!! 100/100!! for this store!!! You guys deserve 10 stars!!!

So this is apparently a Reserve and they have unique offerings which I like. My fellow remote worker friend and I hang out here when we need to work on stuff. They have set up outlets for laptop charging so they’re digital nomad-friendly that way. And I like the varying seasonal food stuff they offer, especially the pastries and pasta, same with the non-coffee refreshing drinks which I’m glad are there. Just bring a jacket because it’s too cold sometimes esp when it’s crowded.

This branch is quite small, but the approach and how they accommodate with their clients is 💯, Guards as well. They have parking area but limited. They're following safety protocol and looking for vaccination card for dine in. Their Frappes and Coffee is so 👌💗 I like how they accommodate us even its late. 30mins before closing time. I love their Peppermint Frappe and Cheesecake 💗
