Service was good. Food were alright. Meat quality was 50/50, plain ones tasted good - fresh even. But the marinated ones weren't really that good, not sure if its because of storage or if the marinade was just not tasty at all. Soup was served hot, and it was tasty. Kimchi is obviously store-bought - tasted like the usual ones made in China and not Korea. They serve cabbage instead of lettuce even though "lettuce" was written in the menu. Rice was cold when served, not a very pleasant taste. Mashed potato was served cold too - the top part was hard; i think it has been sitting in their storage for the whole day lol, tastless too. They have corn. Cheese was good, my only issue is that they serve too little. My biggest issue is their cups and ice; we ordered a soda and they gave ice, when I poured the soda over ice there were "sebo" and I wasn't entirely sure if it was coming from the cup or the ice. That was very nasty. I ate with my brother and we were seated at a long table (fits 8 people) and there were no dividers with the other customers on our side - to be honest it was uncomfortable and kinda unsanitary because if the table was full, it would basically be like we were all eating together and our stuff could get mixed up. They should at least put a removable divider at the table so it would be safe and comfortable for the diners. Overall, I'd rather dine at a Samgyupsal/KBBQ restaurant because there was really nothing special with the whole Yakiniku thing this...
Read more2nd time eating here and I am really disappointed. There was a small cockroach on the marinated pork that was served to us and they didn’t even bother compensating us for it. They replaced all our meats and that was it. They made us pay for it too. There also other things that I didn’t like. Their service was bad, We had a hard time calling their waiter so we can order. The tables are really tight and other groups would just place their dishes on your side of the table. I am not done with the waiters and orders too, we ordered side dishes and meat and it took us multiple follow up because we were waiting for almost 30mins with an empty grill just to find out our order slip disappeared. Bruh. We also requested if they could change the parchment paper on the grill and that also took a really long time along with the...
Read moreThe food was good, and I was pleasantly surprised that Wagyu was available this time. Every time I visit, it’s usually unavailable. They’ve also increased their prices, but since the Wagyu was available, it was acceptable.
Everything was fine until a small cockroach appeared on our table. The server asked if it had landed on the food, and I said no, but of course, it still felt uncomfortable. Because of that, we decided to just ask for the bill. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear any apology from the server or the manager, nor did anyone check on our table like what other restaurants usually do.
I thought they might make up for it somehow—perhaps with our take-out drinks, since only the 1.5L soda was available—but there was no gesture at all. From a good experience, it turned into a...
