I went to the location and was once again instructed to make the booking online. I really think the staff can do away with the condescending tone. Very rude! And yet again it didn't work after which the staff said to check my email, note that my card details had been recorded, and was worried I had been debited, The staff said just call us in a very nakakaabala ako tone! 4. Asked to take a peek since it was supposed to be a birthday party! Was not allowed, sat down and finally gave up 4. Called all possible numbers including the land line nobody was answering so no help there. The very reason why i came to the store to begin with.
After years and years of being such loyal customers and thousands spent through the years Vikings have fallen to such disrepair you guys suckkkk!!!! This all happened in their gateway 2 branch. We are happy to take our business to Dad's Buffet or anywhere else that has value to their patrons. Customer service 0, clear and accurate information 0, accommodation 0. it is sad that we have been let down after all these years.
Don't waste your time asking them questions at the branch because most of the time they don't even know what they're talking about and end up contradicting themselves it almost feels like they're giving inaccurate information just to get rid of you. Do better vikings you are simply not known for this you used to be our go-to because we loved everything about you. Warm and accommodating as a full-service luxury buffet restaurant. What happened? Read moreWe ate around 1:30 PM due to a long queue for walk-ins. We chose Vikings because my birthday is coming next week exactly. There wasn't much food on the buffet, only leftovers from the 10 AM start of lunch hours. When I asked the cooks, they said there would be no refills due to closing and that the cut-off time was only 2:30 PM. Imagine, from being waitlisted at 11:50 AM to waiting until 1:30 PM—so we only had about 1 hour left to enjoy our lunch with my colleagues.
It was frustrating because I had to tell the cooks to give me 2-3 portions of roasted beef and sashimi to satisfy my cravings. I was mad and hot-headed at that time, having to repeatedly explain that we just arrived late and only had an hour to consume the buffet. I understand that the cooks and servers are tired from cooking and serving, but we paid for this, and it’s my birthday celebration with friends.
I didn't want to do the usual birthday greetings or have them sing "Happy Birthday" because I was so irritated. Honestly, I was so pissed that I didn't want them to sing for me.
Nevertheless, this was a lesson—next time, we won't go if there's a long queue. Overall, I am not satisfied with their service. I don't think I will return to Vikings after what happened.

Since it was my birthday, the staff even sang for me and brought out a birthday treat, which made the moment extra special. The dessert section was a highlight, with cakes, halo-halo, pastries, and even a crepe station. Drinks were unlimited — from juices and coffee to milk tea.
