I was looking forward to hosting a reunion with my friends in this restaurant! The staff are welcoming and polite. The ambiance was nice. There was parking available with security. The food choices are good for the price that is charged per person. What I did not like and should WARN others who want to hold a big group get together here is Guevarra's want to make sure that they are paid the full amount of the # of pax that you booked but if you go under that or some of your prepaid guests did not show up, they would not allow you to take even a crumb or drink for the people that you prepaid and did not show up. I can understand not having to go boxes for people who already ate in the buffet. and I agree and understand a no refund policy for no shows. But the Management of Guevarra's should have the courtesy to at least to pack meals for what has been prepaid for the people who did not show up. To me their ruling of not giving the meals that you prepaid is UNFAIR. The ruling is ONLY IN THEIR FAVOR BUT NOT THE CUSTOMERS. All other buffet restaurants and catering services that I have used in the passed always gave the host the food that has been prepaid. They even gave me an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for 2 hot teas and another drink that my guests requested which was not included in their beverage buffet table. You would think that after paying them for 8 pax that did not show up that they would at least not charge me for those three drinks but they did! They are also VERY STRICT IN ALLOWING A GROUP WITH SEVERAL TABLES RESERVED TO BRING THEIR OWN SMALL FLORAL DECORATION FOR THE TABLES to help make the room festive. Once again, I have dined and hosted many parties/gatherings in restaurants and have NEVER been stopped in making our tables a little bit more appealing and festive. I myself, when I see other guests with flowers on their tables or a huge cake I just presumed that they are celebrating a birthday or anniversary party and are happy for them. Guevarra's Management should be more understanding that some people come to their restaurant to celebrate and should be a little bit more accommodating to requests as long as it does not disrupt their other guests. Needless to say, I won't be planning to host another get...
Read moreWe arrived at approximately 10:10am last July 27, 2024. We got settled in at 10:35am - 10:40am with much time to spare to admire the ambience of the exteriors. It was a good thing as we got to chat with others who were excited to celebrate a landscape birthday celebration of 9 decades... 90 years. Indeed a perfect place to celebrate a milestone.
The ones on duty were the following: MART, MARLON, ARON, IRWIN, YUKI, and NICOLE to the service.
I also liked the fact that the comfort room's design was comfy.
A shout out to CHEF CRIS (I think it was the name) very hands on at the buffet hall commendations to them. Keep up the great work! Our experience in our hall was just perfect.
The last time we had an event here was a wedding. I want to put their famed food in the culinary artistry that is Chef Rolando Laudico's the test again.
The meal was rather fantastic at its core and experience.
The ambience of this place is divine. And I say this, what you pay for is worth it. Waiting for the servings is worth it.
Variety of the food is excellent. Very Chef Rolando Laudico Quickness of service Waiters and servers gave cakes to birthday celebrants and congratulations cakes to customers The food refills are quick and consistent during the lunch time set
The ABCD flip sides A. I wish I tried the Lechon earlier on. Hahaha. But I loved the Angus Beef. B. I wished I tried the houseblend Iced Tea hehe the cucumber lemonade is tasty. C. I wish I had eaten more desserts, it was excellent D. I loved the design and inclusiveness of the comfort rooms.
