The food is terrible (for me).... very far from usual traditional ramen places I've tried. the noodles they use taste like instant ramen. I ordered the spareribs ramen while my friend had the half serving double happiness ramen-- when it came to us, both looked almost the same. The taste of both of the ramens were almost identical. The broth is watery with tiny bits of fats floating around. It felt like I was eating instant ramen with floating fats and a dash of soy sauce. Sorry, relative to other usual ramen places, for their price, I did not appreciate the taste of the food. The gyoza wasnt great either.

If you go to their bathroom and peek into their kitchen (just across), you would see how unsanitary working conditions are. The floors were wet and everything looked very messy /...

While their name says Hanamaruken Ramen, their gyoza is actually one of the best things in the menu.

I recently tried out this Japanese restaurant, and it was just okay. While the ambiance was decent and the staff was polite, the food didn't quite hit the spot for me. The ramen was flavorful, but it was missing that "wow" factor. The ramen was okay and nothing exceptional. Good if ur in the area but nothing to write home about nor go out of the way for. Overall, if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite, this place will do the trick. But if you're looking for a truly exceptional Japanese dining experience, you may want to try...

A few weeks ago, my sister in law, nephew and I stopped by here for lunch before a massage appointment. My sister in law recommended this restaurant.

We ordered the California aburi as an appetizer to share. My sister in law got the chasyu ramen, my nephew got the signature happiness ramen and I got the arakawa abura soba. All the food was tasty when we finally got all the food. It did seem slow service for not having too many tables to serve. It seemed that they had limited staffing. Good thing we had allowed extra time to eat.

I would recommend the food but be prepared to wait and not be in a rush...
