Pancake House Santolan Town Plaza — Restaurant in San Juan

Today, we had the pleasure of visiting this establishment at around 4 pm. We must say that the place is very calm and not crowded. The chicken nuggets here are made of chicken breast, resulting in a remarkably fresh taste that notably outshines other branches. A delightful touch is the citrusy marinade that gives zest to the flavor profile which we like. Crispy on the outside and very juicy in the inside. But,there could be some enhancements in the variety of accompanying dips, beyond the currently available gravy and barbecue hickory options. I hope they come up with choices of honey mustard or onion dip.

We also ordered French fries which is a good pair to the chicken nuggets. For our dessert, a very fluffly pancake souffle. This is what I really like when eating pancakes. Next time I will try the one with blueberry or nutella with it. Of course you will have to add a few peso for this. But I must say, I will order this instead of the regular pancakes which is also good.

For their service, we were met with commendable attentiveness. The staff exhibited friendliness and a willingness to assist. Nonetheless, there's room for improvement in terms of order accuracy and timely delivery to the appropriate tables. It was a peculiar situation, considering there were only two occupied tables during our visit. Despite this hiccup, the staff promptly apologized. Given that my husband and I were not particularly rushed, we took the situation in stride. However, it's worth noting that one of our orders took twice the expected time to arrive.

Despite the minor setback, we remain inclined to revisit this establishment. Its homely atmosphere ensures a welcoming environment, and even when all tables are occupied, the establishment manages to avoid feeling...

The service was actually pretty alright. The servers were kind, and the waitress gave us the biggest smiles.

But I’m rating them low because their rules are so unreasonable. We each ordered one main course, but we wanted tacos to share. Their single order taco costs 130+ pesos, but they have a special To-Go Price that is 270+ for 4 pcs. We asked if we could order that and eat it in the store. They said if we did that, they’d charge us twice the price since we’d have to pay dine in price. So we were like ok, what if we buy it for take out, and eat it outside the restaurant. The waiter literally said bawal din yun kasi daw may CCTV sa labas so huhulihin nila kami? Ganun daw rules ng management so wala daw sila magagawa. Grabe mago-offer na nga ng promo,...

Bad experience.

Slow Service. The staff doesn't know what is available in the kitchen. We ordered bubble tea and halo-halo. But after waiting for a long time for our order to arrive, the halo-halo came but mentioned that the bubble tea isn't available. They should've told us beforehand that it isn't available not only after the halo-halo was served.

Also, wanted to avail of gift vouchers - OFFLINE!

Anyway, we proceeded to eat our halo-halo - for the price this is the worse one we had.

We thought Pancake House is a good establishment as we are seeing a lot of branches. It was my kids first time eating here and they said it was bad compared to their competition. Their prices doesn't justify both quality of goods and services.
