Read moreI live in Philippines for more than 2 years and I been this evening to RumBar and the experience was terrible. I waited about 30 min for gambas (shrimps in olive oil) and when finally came, it was without any bread or even faimos rice. I asked for 2-3 slices of bread in order to eat with gambas and after 20 minutes waiting with the food in front of me, I went to the bar to ask what is going on. “Yes sir” the faimos excuse the Filipino use, but nothing happened another 5-6 minutes (typical for Filipino don’t care mentality). The bread finally came but they bring an entire baguette (stupid, I didn’t ask for an entire baguette). When finally started to eat, I had to get rid of the dogs coming to my table for food. Not to mention the music which in addition of being too loud, is a garbage of music and the lost souls roaming around. I went to the counter to pay because nobody cares about you if you want the bill. The same impersonal “sorry sir” which translates into “we actually don’t care about you” and I paid the bill; 380 php to ruin my evening! Very rude, primitive and impolite people. Never...
Read moreMISSOLD. We paid to attend the summer splash and have VIP (food, drinks, table). The woman who sold us the tickets listed the food to include fish balls, sausages and tempura etc. upon arrival we were given just the sausages. I asked where the rest was as the ticket price was 200 extra for this. She claimed she had never mentioned any other food, which was a lie. She was rude, laughed in our faces and put us off the event. Luckilly a kind man intervened and offered us free fries due to not having what we were sold. However they were inedible, laced with so much salt and just unpleasant. The event itself was poorly ran, selling the “free VIP” food much cheaper then what we paid additional to our ticket. They placed our table right infront of the speaker and had cornered off areas of the beach leaving us isolated from other guests which made us uncomfortable. Would not return due to the hospitality...
