My recent visit sa Korean restaurant na 'to was delightful. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavors na kept my taste buds on their toes. ððĻðŦðĪ ððĒððĒðĶðððĐ really stood out (ð/ð), perfectly portioned for one and served with a separate red paste, allowing you to adjust the heat to your liking.
The Banchans were equally impressive. ððŦððĒðŽðð ððĻððððĻððŽ (ð/ð) and ððððĻðĪððĻðĪðĪðĒ (ð.ð/ð) were delicious. The spiciness of the Tteokbokki perfectly complemented its chewy texture, creating a symphony of flavors. My partner, who's not a fan of the spiciness of the Tteokbokki sauce, found himself dipping it into the sauce of the braised potatoes, and he approved.
The ððĨððŽðŽðĒð ð ðĒðŽðĄðððĪð (ð/ð) surprised me. I was really looking forward to trying the classic fish cakes since I'm not familiar with how it was cooked. I'm used to the fishcake on sticks, like in a stick or like pan-fry, not like in black sauce. Pero even though it wasn't what I was expecting, it was still pretty tasty, just a bit too salty for my liking.
For drinks, we had the ððĨðŪððððŦðŦðē ð ðŦðŪðĒð ððð (ð.ð/ð) filled with fruity sago (i don't remember the name of it), and the ððĻðĻðĪðĒððŽ & ððŦðððĶ ððĒðĨðĪ ððð (ð/ð). The latter was a real treat, with cookie crumbles in every sip.
The ambiance of the restaurant was trendy and inviting. Despite looking like a small restaurant, it can accommodate large groups inside. It's conveniently located near schools like LVD and Asian, making it a great spot for students. The place was clean and well-maintained, even the restroom had a bidet. The staff was friendly, especially the cashier, and the service was fast, probably because we visited around 3 PM, a quieter time of the day.
The prices are reasonable, and they even offer a budget-friendly option of chicken with rice for 80 pesos. Mapapa- 'I deserve this' ka agad. Overall, this Korean restaurant is a must-visit. If you're craving Korean food and don't want samg anymore, this is the place to be!

Read moreDon't order after looking at the picture. You certainly regret it. You'll be disappointed. I think this house cooks food only by looking at pictures of Korean food.
Gimbap: Gimbap is not a dish dipped in soy sauce. When cooking rice and vegetables before cooking, it should be cooked with salt or soy sauce.
Bibimbap: Beef is not rubber. Grilled beef is used to add beef to bibimbap. (It's cheaper).
Tteokbokki: There is no spicy taste. I think I just mixed red pepper paste with sugar.
Pork cutlet: I think all the meat in this house is made of rubber. Pork for pork cutlet is made by tapping it with a meat hammer using leg meat to make a straw mat and then frying it, and the sauce is made using flour and butter. I first experienced pork cutlet without pork cutlet sauce here.
Seaweed soup: There is no seaweed soup with vinegar in Korea. Seaweed soup is to wash seaweed clean, add seaweed, garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce, stir-fry it, add water, boil it, and season it with soy sauce or salt at the end.
