Updated Overall 4.7 4.2+0.5 for accepting senior discounts

One of the must try food in tacloban. Food is amazing. They've been serving the city for 20+yrs? Maybe even 30. Not many resto stay that long in business. Last time I reviewed this place the AC was broken and I had issues with the staff. This time around I was pleasantly surprised. They had a new staff who was attentive and friendly. He made sure we had everything we need. Best service I had in a long while.

+0.5 for the senior discounts since they accept them. Don't know if it's the full discount though. Did not check as it was too hot.

Last note. Dine at their robinsons north branch so you don't have to eat in a sauna. Lol

I've been a customer here for a very long time. The food is amazing. Diablo, rum ribs and their different nachos are favorites of mine.

I had a bad experience a yr ago when I dined here. But I recently visited again and the AC is fixed. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. He made sure that we had everything we wanted.

Ambiance 4

The AC was broken for a long time but it's fixed now. The place offers its unique ambiance with art works made by the owner and her cousins.

As mentioned AC was broken before but since it has been finally fixed it deserves a review redo. Price is not cheap but definitely not expensive. It's just right.

Parking 4

They have parking that would fit 3 and a few bikes. Not enough for a full house but decent enough for the place specially when it's partially a sauna at...

Do not go here its a rip off. They pretend to be a high end cafe but its just an excuse to skimp on food and rip you off.This restaurant is skimming you on quality and content of food and delivering little to nothing for your money. I started with the chicken garlic quesadilla which was basically a tortilla with the barest ammount of cheese possible pretending to be fancy food with a tomato drizzle. Very empty and bland with nothing I. There worth the price charged. Next was the Asian chicken which was basically an attempt at curry, dreadful and Unapetizing the bland white rice was the only thing edible on the plate. Do not go here it's over charges dramatically for an off the path tacloban resto pretending to be a high class Cafe. The final insult is being ignored for 30mins when they see your not ahppy or liking the food or eating I'll take my chances with the street vendors and toilet at least it'll taste...

Sunzibar offers a cozy place to dine for family, friends or a couple who wants to spend a peaceful or meaningful delicious meal because of its somewhat intimate setting.

It is strategically located in the heart of downtown where access is easy.

I adore the industrial/minimalist setup of the place as it creates space and has an artsy feel to it as well.

Must try: their signature rhum ribs or diablo pork sauce (spicy) which is sooo good its almost sinful to eat. The price is reasonable esp when you see how big the servings are and how sumptuos the food is. Plus it comes with free fresh juice drinks and the overall presentation of the food just screams class without blowing your wallet/budget.

Sunzibar is unique, a must try and is thus synonymous to experiencing the feels of tacloban...
