Service was good. Ambience felt intimate despite of the actual space. Good place to eat after meetings.

Rating our orders. Sashimi an 8/10. Maki 8/10. Nigiri 6/10 ( could use some work on the rice consistency. Nobody likes nigiris that break when dipping in soy sauce.) and honestly the presentation could be better. Matcha cheesecake 7/10 a little too strong for my taste (depends on your preference)

Considering how easy our orders are compared to the rest of the menu, I’m hoping they work harder for the other dishes that require actual cooking. Will be back to try other stuff. But all in all, we enjoyed the food....

Xake Restaurant in Tacloban is a lovely Japanese spot with a nice ambiance, especially at night when you can enjoy the city lights and the warm glow of the restaurant’s lights. The place has an open, airy vibe with no walls, so you get a refreshing breeze while dining.

The ramen is okay, but what I really love is their maki sushi tempura—definitely a must-try! The food can be a bit pricey, but the overall experience and atmosphere make it worth it.
