Anaya Filipino Restaurant — Restaurant in Tagaytay

We were only passing by Mahogany Ave until we saw their place. The great ambiance really caught our eyes and we were not disappointed. Plus, they allow pets!

We initially ordered hot coffee and it was okay. However, for its price plus the 8% service charge, we thought we deserve at least two shots of Espresso, but we got only one and additional shot costs ₱50 (for comparison, Starbucks charges only ₱30).

For food, of course we ordered Bulalo and Pork Binagoongan. The taste was really okay and the serving was generous although we were not really starving. Soup can be refilled for free.

There's no minimum food bill to stay at the nipa huts so it was nice and I hope it stays that way.

There were plenty of car park slots as well so no problem.

we just pass by it when we were abiut to drop off my dog for grooming. at first we were wondering why there's no customers other than us, and only one staff approached us. but the approach is welcoming and the staff that we talked to is accommodating. we chose to dine in the injan sitting nippa hut then we ordered sinigang na tuna panga and grilled seafoods, it was delicious especially the grilled seafoods. at first glance I was a little disappointed because it doesn't looked like what I expected but I loved the taste, I savoured it. and also they're cakes, the ice cream may just be too pricey but the...

We still can’t get over of how great this place is. The ambiance is great there’s plenty of seats inside their cafe and there’s option if you want to go al fresco and try to eat in their kubo. We ordered bulalo and bangus which is good for 3-4 persons. The staffs are very attentive and accommodating. Their CR is very clean spacious and smells good. This might be also a hidden gem but I highly recommend this to everyone if you want to try other restaurants around Tagaytay since this one has very peaceful vibe.
