Nanay Dories Bulalohan — Restaurant in Tagaytay

I visited this restaurant January 2022. It had been some years but i used to make a point of going here every trip to Tagaytay. However we were served Bulalo with no corn. Now i don't know about you, but to me Bulalo is not Bulalo without corn. I felt like just walking but for the sake of harmony just stayed and enjoyed the meal. Let me just say this, any restaurant that prides themselves as being a Bulalo destination, if you are out of corn, go to the market and buy some! I don't care what it cost. My experience ruined their reputation. The server didn't even bother to tell us they had no corn. So perhaps you should ask if they actually have all the ingredients to make a proper Bulalo before you order. I still have fond memories of this place but may not...

As a restaurant that promotes itself as a bulalohan, we were disappointed with the beef bulalo during our recent visit. The beef wasn't fully tender and was quite tough, with tendons that were difficult to chew. This was a far cry from our first experience, which had been excellent and left a much better impression. I the place ia chill. Has nice kubo huts good for groups to have a little privacy if you dont want to be in the usual resto table and chairs. Staff are accomodating. Their Bulalo is good though I dont really have comparison since I haven't been to many bulalo house yet. But my experience was nice. Recommended to go to! We enjoyed. We drove from manila just to eat bulalo and we were not disappointed. Btw, they have free soup...
