Fuyuan Chinese Restaurant - BGC — Restaurant in Taguig

Hands down one of the best! Easily my favorite Chinese restaurant. It’s Sichuan cuisine so don’t expect dimsums and yang chow fried rice—we don’t have too many of these Sichuan places in Manila so it’s such a gem of a resto.

The new BGC branch is so good - place is clean, food quality is excellent and consistent, service is super fast-like you’ll be surprised.

Get the sour soup with beef fillets, century egg with tofu, spicy green beans. The egg with tomato is also delicious. And don’t skip the deep fried taro balls. Yummy. If you get the spicy mala soup-ask for coriander/wansoy! Best. All of these dishes in my pics are the regulars that I order. Plus rice OF COURSE. Definitely with rice!

They also have Chinese drinks ie the sweet milk, sweet canned tea, and some beer. Pro tip: if it’s too spicy, have some hot tea.

Water in the pitcher though is tap water so get bottled if you have a sensitive stomach.

The food here is delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are just right, making it a great value for money. Food arrives within 10 minutes, which is impressive.

Unfortunately, the service here is horrendous! The staff seemed unmotivated, and we had to call for their attention multiple times. Even the manager, who should be setting a positive example, had an unwelcoming demeanor. It's disappointing because the food is excellent, but the poor service really detracts from the...

Been here before for lunch. That time, we had clam & tofu soup, spicy cabbage (requested them to hold the spicy part), seafood fried rice and dumpling. Clam&tofu soup had a refreshing taste. Cabbage was cooked just right that it still had the crunch. Dumpling was good and the skin was just the right thickness. Also, had a take away of beef with rice noodle which was good.
