Foodies: 5 stars for Manila.

This is if Uma Nota had good food.

Drinks: excellent. The best cocktails I’ve had in BGC. Ask for their showpiece cocktails. It’s not just presentation, but they actually thought through the flavor layers (before, mid, and aftertaste). It’s not as refined as the top 10 cocktails of the world, but it’s the only place in Manila where they actually thought it through. Just Bravo 👏

Ambiance: Lovely. Like an classy rave acid trip. Same as Uma Nota.

Food: excellent for Manila. Miso Udon Carbonara: miso + tomato umami is perfect. The only flaws: they added additional salt and sugar, so it detracted instead of amplifying - but I understand why you did it, it’s to appeal to the Filipino palate. The udon was a nice touch, but they overcooked it.

Chicken Karage: good, wanted a few places where they added ginger to the marinade. They fried it properly with no aftertaste. Only way they can improve? Use larger chunks of chicken and thinner batter.

Chicken Parmesan: the best I’ve had in Philippines. They properly brined and flattened the chicken for even cooking. Only flaws? The tomato sauce had too much sugar, like I taste the sweetness. And the batter was a bit thick compared to the protein.

Overall, compared to other cities in the world, I’ll rate the quality of the food 7/10. But for Manila? 10/10. Only place that would beat it is Nobu.

Yes, this restaurant is S-tier for Philippines. On par with Putien.

Would I come again? Absolutely....

A MUST VISIT

I booked their cigar room for a business lunch a day before and totally misunderstood it's actually a cigar lounge. Thinking the room was just named as Cigar.

Anyway, booking was so smooth and very responsive ng people behind page and contact numbers nila.

The business lunch: So we couldn't hold the business lunch at the cigar lounge but the very accommodating team (led by Kat) allowed us to use the other and bigger room instead (Immersive), which is by the way gives an extraordinary dining experience.

The staff: Accommodating, attentive, professional and all smiles!!! All of them! Special thanks to Kat!

The food: Exquisite! My guests were of mixed nationalities and they loved everything that was served. You just probably have to ask the staff beforehand on the servings/portions specially if dining in groups and ordering for sharing kasi most of the dishes are for solo orders. Dont make the same mistake I did. Good thing I ordered many dishes so it somehow sufficed the short servings.

The ambience: Great! And I think even greater at night if you're up to that chill or party vibe, they have a place for you. My team would definitely consider coming back for a...

This restaurant is elusive and secretive from the outside. From what I know, it's currently not open to the public - and who are allowed inside are only those who know whom to ask for reservations. What can be seen outside is the al fresco area with egg shaped rattan weaves as focal points. Let me just describe the space inside. There is a main dining hall and the interiors are a mix of modern bohemian in maximalist style. There are two secret private rooms inside. One of the two special rooms is equipped with devices that are so expensive, it costs about the same as a 2BR condo in BGC. For the main event, the cuisine served is varied with Filipino, Japanese and Western flavors in a delectable fusion. Any gourmand would be satisfied. The drinks, on the other hand, all had unique names and are cocktails that would confuse your GenX tito/tita. I don't know how this place will operate but I will definitely come back again for a meal and a drink.

We recently celebrated our child’s 18th birthday at “Electric Garden” Restaurant], and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we booked and arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the event special. The service was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food was absolutely outstanding! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor…not to mention the cocktails (they ate a must). You could tell the ingredients were fresh and prepared with care. My family is still talking about the meal! A huge thank you to the entire team at “Electric Garden” for making this milestone celebration so perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or atmosphere. Highly recommended for any special occasion!
